Welcome back to my blog. It has taken me a while to get back into the swing of things this year for a few personal reasons but I am hoping to be back at it with lots of things to share. My creativity seemed to go on hiatus and it is slowly returning. There may still be weeks I miss but please come back the next week as I continue to post.<br />
<br />

<br />
our hostess is Imke and her challenge is STICK IT ~ she wants you to use washi tape on your projects.<br />
<br />
Mine is very simple. I used black and gold washi tape on my weekly layout in my bullet journal to separate the events from the rest of the page. I need ideas on how to use washi tape on cards so I am looking forward to seeing all of your creations. My theme for the month of January is fireworks with the colour of black and gold.<br />
<br />

<br />
Your turn....head on over to <a href="http://lilredwagon.blogspot.com/">Little Red Wagon</a> and link up a washi tape project of your own. And check out the creations by the other talented girlfriends as well.<br />
<br />
Thanks for dropping by. Have a great day!<br />

Today is my 15th Wedding Anniversary. I am spending it far away from my hubby who is at home working while I am on vacation visiting my son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. So tucked under his pillow was the following card. (I am sure he found it before today but hopefully didn't open it as the instructions on the envelope said.)<br />
<br />
Background is done with a watercolour wash. I am not totally happy about the way it turned out so I will need more practice as this was the first time trying it. Image is from Lawn Fawn Winter Skies coloured with Copics and a paper pieced scarf. Sentiment is from Kraftin. Kimmie Sparkle and Shine.<br />

I have something new and different to show you today that was a commissioned order. I have a good friend who has just purchased a condo in South Carolina that she will be renting out. She wanted something to leave for her guests when they arrived. After searching the Internet for what we really wanted, between the two of us this is what we designed.<br />
<br />
The tag itself is computer generated. I rounded the corners, scored the top and punched the hole for the wine bottle. I added stamps of leaves and berries in the same coastal blues of the decor of the condo and finished them off by inking the edges in a soft turquoise. And viola, personalized wine bottle tags.<br />

<br />
Once again in keeping with the season (I still need more cards and can not believe Christmas is less than 2 weeks away), I used black, white and red to create this Christmas card. Stamp is from Kraftin' Kimmie called Merry and Bright Birdies. Sentiment is also from Kraftin' Kimmie's Holly Jolly Ornaments set stamped with Kraftin' Kimmie Ruby Red ink. Patterned paper is Carta Bella Christmas Delivery. Gems from my stash.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
our hostess is Jan and her challenge is NO CARDS ALLOWED ~ so, for this week, we have a no card policy. That means you can showcase anything else in paper crafting such as a scrapbook page, a pocket page or an altered item. But that's not all ~ you can also showcase any other craft or do-it-yourself project that you do, for example, knitting or furniture upholstering.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Now I only wish I could have knitted super fast and showcased the throw I have been working on for the past two years....LOL! Or the wreath I am supposed to be making for the door this Christmas. But alas, I resorted back to my ever faithful paper crafting and made a couple of tags for presents (and I know how much Jan appreciates tags....hee!hee!)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I came across the window tag idea while watching tag videos on YouTube. I used a window die from Memory Box. I cut out one and then traced it to make a solid piece for the back and cut that one out by hand. The images are from Kraftin' Kimmie's <a href="https://www.kraftinkimmiestamps.com/product/new-holiday-village/">Holiday Village</a> coloured with my Copics. I added lots of snow with my UniBall signo white pen. I added an acetate layer for the window, a sentiment and a ribbon. </div>

Good day, peeps!! Today at</div>

<br />
It's my turn to hostess and my theme is REMEMBER WHEN ~ but that''s just my way of saying remember when you bought something for your crafting stash and never used it. You know as crafters we all do this for sure. My big thing to collect is stamp sets. So I picked out one and used it on this card.<br />
<br />
I used none other than Kraftin' Kimmie (now there's a surprise). This set is <a href="http://www.kraftinkimmiestamps.com/product/new-holly-jolly-ornaments/">Holly Jolly Ornaments</a> stamped with Kraftin Kimmie inks in Mermaid Melody, Lovely Lagoon, Raspberry Rose and Granite Grey. Boughs were die cut using a retired Your Next Stamp branch. Sparkly gems are also from my stash of embellishments.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So head on over to <a href="http://lilredwagon.blogspot.com/">Little Red Wagon</a>, check out the inspiration from the other girlfriends and link up a project using something in your stash you have never used. I am looking forward to seeing them all.</div>

If you are here for the krafty sneak peek and weren't sent directly to the post please click <a href="https://princesspaperprojects.blogspot.com/2018/11/thanks-snow-much-special-sneak-peek-for.html">HERE</a> or scroll down****<br />
<br />
Welcome to a new challenge at <a href="http://lilredwagon.blogspot.com/">Little Red Wagon</a>. Our hostess today is Imke and she's saying JUST A SENTIMENT ~ she wants to see your makes featuring a sentiment front and centre.<br />
<br />
And this was a challenge for me ~ not that I don't have some amazing sentiments but it is unusual for me to make them the focus as I am so used to colouring an image for that. Thanks, Imke, for getting me out of my comfort zone. After all, that's what challenges are supposed to do. Here's what I came up with ~<br />
<br />
I took a sentiment from the <a href="http://www.kraftinkimmiestamps.com/product/new-shake-it-up/">Shake It Up</a> set from Kraftin' Kimmie and embossed it on multi media paper in clear embossing powder (Next time I think I would use white as it would stand out better.) I then took two colours of Kraftin' Kimmie hybrid ink, Ruby Red and Enchanting Emerald, and inked them in stripes onto the paper. I mounted this onto white card stock cut out with a Lawn Fawn Stitched rectangle die. Flower and leaf die cuts are Your Next Stamp and Spellbinders. Twine and dots from my stash. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
Head on over to <a href="http://lilredwagon.blogspot.com/">Little Red Wagon</a> and check out some inspiration from the other girlfriends. They are a super talented bunch. Leave them some love on their blogs and come back and link up a SENTIMENT project of your own so we can leave you some love (ie. a comment on your blog ~ everyone likes to see some of those).<br />
<br />
Thanks for coming by. Enjoy the rest of your day!<br />

Hello all! Welcome back to my blog and to the start of a new challenge at </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_85ey7UIfnlYAxtBsGGsxIzmfIFI_hx0vHTAlYXojxn0m_6Tee8YEpNWfpkV4ZUS8aHXJ9IsrK6ojVXM4kSp1jtsetZ_yNFxGLgXMpKT1I_Q_d7bHUJr4ISP-tWIuudFjQQ1_hQ6eP9g/s1600/lrwheaderfinalredborder.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="377" data-original-width="863" height="139" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_85ey7UIfnlYAxtBsGGsxIzmfIFI_hx0vHTAlYXojxn0m_6Tee8YEpNWfpkV4ZUS8aHXJ9IsrK6ojVXM4kSp1jtsetZ_yNFxGLgXMpKT1I_Q_d7bHUJr4ISP-tWIuudFjQQ1_hQ6eP9g/s320/lrwheaderfinalredborder.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
This week our hostess is Kate and her theme is REGAL AND ROYAL ~ she wants to see our makes with kings and queens, princes and princesses, castles, etc. Anything royal will do.<br />
<br />
Now this finished project I am about to show you was not how it started out. It was going to be a birthday card for my grand daughter using the princess from the retired Kraftin' Kimmie set called Believe in Fairy Tales. But I had a really rough day at work and remembered I had this very sarcastic sentiment from C.C. Designs so I put it to good use :) Patterned paper is Echo Park Imagine That. Flowers are Your Next Stamp Groovy Flower die. Sequins from my stash.<br />

<div style="text-align: left;">
Our hostess this week is Brenda and sh'[e saying "DAMSEL IN DISTRESS" meaning she wants to see distressing on our makes. This could be distress ink or distressed edges or both ~ it's up to you.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br />
This is my make. It is a customer order for a husband who like antique cars. I found the image of the 1957 Chevy on a colouring page, printed it and coloured it with my Copics. Patterned paper is Simple Stories Pumpkin Spice. Edges of all paper were distressed with my distressing tool. I enjoy doing that on masculine cards as it gives them an edgier look. Sentiment is High Hopes embossed with white.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Jan is our hostess this week and her challenge is DIGI DO ~ she wants to see us use a digital stamp on your project. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
True confession time...I knew this challenge was approaching and I also knew my printer was out of black ink. I had purchased the stamp from a new to me company <a href="https://powerpoppy.com/">Power Poppy by Marcella Hawley</a> but hadn't printed it yet. I bought the Bring Home the Sunflowers set to make a couple of birthday cards for my Mom. She is giving them to 2 ladies who are over 90 so I had to use something other than my usual cutesy style. And, like a teenager who leaves their project to the last minute, I rushed out after supper last night to purchase ink for my printer. And now I have a card made with a digital stamp to share :)</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Printed paper is from Simple Stories Pumpkin Spice. Image is Power Poppy coloured with my Copic markers. Fishtail banner is Your Next Stamp and Happy Birthday sentiment is High Hopes stamped in Lawn Fawn Yeti. Bling is from my stash.<br />

Hello all! I am your hostess this week at </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
and my theme is THANKFUL FOR YOU ~ I want to see your thank you cards and projects. Since we, in Canada, have just celebrated Thanksgiving I thought this theme appropriate and who doesn't need thank you cards to send out on occasion. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Because it's still Autumn (although the weather has warmed up here once again...sigh) my card has an Autumn theme as well as a thank you one. I took the Scripty Thanks die by Lawn Fawn and used it as a stencil where I inked over it with three colours of Kraftin' Kimmie Hybrid inks ~ Pumpkin Patch, Mossy Meadow and Marvelous Mocha. I added splotches of white paint and some clear sequins. The pumpkin is from Kraftin' Kimmie Grateful Pumpkins set stamped with Pumpkin Patch and Mossy Meadow and fussy cut. Patterned paper is Simple Stories Pumpkin Spice.</div>

Another new Wednesday and another new challenge at <a href="http://lilredwagon.blogspot.com/">Little Red Wagon</a>. Imke is our hostess and her challenge is entitled STENCIL IT ~ she wants to see a stencil on your projects. <br />
<br />
Here's my take:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLqlBL-vOl4L_pWdwj7U4KihqEb_GYcUg3yHoitvHPggQzstz8w1rc2h_uvzVIOK8xn88W0XCl6IKE3jj-kbO_kD2aM5v50DslsyNI-YZz19_zHzsOR7o1ybx2Z9iurRWcijcwumTokX0/s1600/20181003_080952.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1172" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLqlBL-vOl4L_pWdwj7U4KihqEb_GYcUg3yHoitvHPggQzstz8w1rc2h_uvzVIOK8xn88W0XCl6IKE3jj-kbO_kD2aM5v50DslsyNI-YZz19_zHzsOR7o1ybx2Z9iurRWcijcwumTokX0/s400/20181003_080952.jpg" width="292" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I was in a little bit of a mojo slump so decided a couple of new supplies might help (along with LOTS of surfing Pinterest, YouTube and Facebook for inspiration.) Headed off to my local scrapbook store and here's the result. Stencil used is Sleigh Ride by Carta Bella. I used 3 colours of Tim Holtz distress ink ~ black soot, faded jeans and blueprint sketch (not new ~ LOL!) to create my night time sky and then added the snow falling with the stencil using Lawn Fawn Yeti stamp pad. I stamped and embossed Santa and his sleigh in the sky . Santa, polar bears, trees and sentiment are from the new Lawn Fawn Winter Skies set. Scarves paper piecing and background patterned paper are from the new Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow Christmas paper pad. I like the result of my new supplies ~ not so sure my wallet does though! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Well, your turn....check out the inspiration at <a href="http://lilredwagon.blogspot.com/">Little Red Wagon</a>, pick out some supplies, or like me, buy new ones, and link up a STENCIL project of your own. Looking forward to seeing all of your creations.</div>

Welcome to another Wednesday and a new challenge at <a href="http://lilredwagon.blogspot.com/">Little Red Wagon</a>. Kate is our hostess this week and her theme is FALLING LEAVES which is just her way of saying that she wants to see Fall/Autumn projects.<br />
<br />
If you've come to visit my blog in the last few weeks you will have seen Fall/Autumn projects for the last three challenges. And I know I have mentioned that it is my favourite season so this challenge was a fantastic one for myself.<br />
<br />
I used a stamp set from Lawn Fawn called Jump for Joy and coloured some of the images with my Copics and fussy cut them out. Patterned paper is Simple Stories Pumpkin Spice and Lawn Fawn Rainbow. Brown card stock is cut with Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle dies. Banner is Your Next Stamp and sentiment is stamped with Kraftin' Kimmie Marvelous Mocha ink. I kept the dimension to a minimum as this card is to be sent in the mail.<br />
<br />

It's a lovely Fall day today and I am off work and starting to pack up our trailer for the season. Fall is my favourite of the seasons but it is a bittersweet time as well when we have to pack up the seasonal home and leave it for 7 months. Anyhow, enough about my life.<br />
<br />
I am sure you dropped in for the new challenge at <a href="http://lilredwagon.blogspot.com/">Little Red Wagon</a> this week. Brenda is our hostess and her challenge is TAG YOU'RE IT! She wants to see you make tags ~ tags for any occasion or use. I hope to make up some goodies to give away for Thanksgiving (Canadian Thanksgiving is in three weeks) and decided these tags would be great to put on them. I used a premade tag from Recollections in kraft. Stamp set is <a href="http://www.kraftinkimmiestamps.com/product/new-grateful-pumpkins/">Grateful Pumpkins</a> by Kraftin' Kimmie and stamped with Kraftin' Kimmie Pumpkin Patch, Mossy Meadow and Marvelous Mocha Hybrid Inks. A few leaves were coloured with my Wink of Stella to add a subtle bit of sparkle. Edges were inked with Marvelous Mocha. Ribbon, twin and leaf buttons were in my stash.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
As always, it's your turn. Head on over to <a href="http://lilredwagon.blogspot.com/">Little Red Wagon</a>, check out all of the inspirations and link up a tag of your own. It's going to be great to see all of your projects as I love tags.<br />
<br />
Thanks for coming by. Enjoy the rest of your day!<br />

Jan is our hostess this week at <a href="http://lilredwagon.blogspot.com/">Little Red Wagon</a> and the challenge is BLING IT ON. From BACK TO BASICS (last week) to BLING IT ON (this week) ~ one extreme to the other. She wants to see bling, glitter, sequins, etc. on your project.<br />
<br />
Here's my take. Stamp is a retired High Hopes called Laura's Pumpkin Patch coloured with Copic markers. Paper is Simple Stories Pumpkin Spice. Spooky Cute Sparkly Gumdrops from Your Next Stamp add some sparkle and bling. Pumpkin button is from my stash. I outlined the words Pumpkin Patch with my Wink of Stella for more sparkle. So, in real life, this card is much more sparkly than the picture shows.<br />

I have a card to share today that was made for my first card swap ever with a group of stampers on Facebook. The group is <a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/1144549502222157/">Stamp Anniething Stampers</a> and we were given an exclusive digital stamp to use for the swap if we wanted or we could also use any Stamp Anniething stamp. <br />
<br />
For some unknown reason I could not get the digi to print at all so I used a clear stamp called <a href="http://stampanniething.com/catalog.php?item=130">Holly ~ Especially for You</a>. I coloured her with Autumn colours and used paper and enamel dots from Simple Stories Pumpkin Spice collection. I added a few goodies and off she went to the recipient.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisFbkidLIb_FYrWU4pKWPMPN6PP2-gwxzZi3oTEmZQaZSmbVkRQktLiF3PBck6PLKzbv7vdRwl-9QFFJ5tU3VA7leti1S7-TrOwAWjFtQo1qCauEIVj8kT6ClHw6ntL-NowBgOPl1INVk/s1600/20180830_103333.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1188" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisFbkidLIb_FYrWU4pKWPMPN6PP2-gwxzZi3oTEmZQaZSmbVkRQktLiF3PBck6PLKzbv7vdRwl-9QFFJ5tU3VA7leti1S7-TrOwAWjFtQo1qCauEIVj8kT6ClHw6ntL-NowBgOPl1INVk/s400/20180830_103333.jpg" width="296" /></a></div>
<br />
And here is the picture of the card and goodies posted by the recipient and what she had to say:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: start;">Thank you so much </span><span style="background-color: white; color: #1d2129; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; text-align: start;">for the beautiful card and goodies I received today! The card is so pretty and I will treasure it always!</span></div>
<br />
I think it was a hit. So, one of the points of this post is that we are our own worst critics. You will never know the agonizing that was behind this card. Was it good enough? Will she like it? Is the colouring okay? Etc. And, truthfully, this was my second attempt because I, not anyone else, didn't think the first one was good enough to send. Next time someone compliments one of your projects just say a big THANK YOU and believe them. And please never be afraid to share whether on a blog, a Facebook page or any social media sharing platform. It will help you gain confidence I am sure. I know it did for me.<br />
<br />
Thanks for dropping by. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.<br />

Today starts a new challenge at <a href="http://lilredwagon.blogspot.com/">Little Red Wagon</a> and I am the hostess this week. My challenge is BACK TO BASICS ~ I want to see clean and simple or one layer projects. And remember, it doesn't have to be a card, any paper crafting project will qualify.<br />
<br />
You would never know it by the hot and humid weather we are still having but Autumn/Fall is coming and it is my favourite time of year. My project reflects that. It uses a stamp set that I love (sorry, it is a retired rubber set) from <a href="http://www.kraftinkimmiestamps.com/">Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps</a> called Hey There, Pumpkin! coloured with Copic markers. I backed it on an orange card stock and scored the edges for a little dimension. And I couldn't resist a small enamel dot added to the sentiment. It's still a CAS card, right?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNoMihZ3wj-qdnHrbhH2M_4BcefFv3Pifh-XyEtDWiE98p0gv75LnZdZGDpEjqd2pLAF6gYdgF1n0N47Wmyc2xVwVuYXdIzQYm541SWnm3KKp25xbbAqTYYuBINQbT0P6lmRS_29IPfQw/s1600/20180904_205001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="998" data-original-width="1600" height="248" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNoMihZ3wj-qdnHrbhH2M_4BcefFv3Pifh-XyEtDWiE98p0gv75LnZdZGDpEjqd2pLAF6gYdgF1n0N47Wmyc2xVwVuYXdIzQYm541SWnm3KKp25xbbAqTYYuBINQbT0P6lmRS_29IPfQw/s400/20180904_205001.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Now it's your turn. Head on over to the <a href="http://lilredwagon.blogspot.com/">Little Red Wagon</a> blog and check out the inspiration from the other girlfriends. Then link up a BACK TO BASICS project of your own. I am looking forward to seeing all that you will create and visiting and commenting on your blogs.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Have a wonderful Wednesday. </div>

It's been a while since I last posted. Life has really got in the way, some good and some bad. But, today begins a new challenge at <a href="http://lilredwagon.blogspot.com/">Little Red Wagon</a> and I have a project to share. Imke is our hostess and her theme is Old and New Trends.<br />
<br />
I try not to jump on the bandwagon for the newest trends when they first come out for budget reasons. So I went back to using something that I did on a fairly consistent basis on my cards but no longer do as much. I inked all of the edges and I really like the way they make the image and paper pop. You may see more of this "older" trend from me in the future. Stamp and sentiment are Kraftin' Kimmie Party Animals coloured with Copics. Patterned paper and enamel dots are Simple Stories Let's Party. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8ke2BkNtjCSP99Z1DkkL30XTk4zM2f0gGxvf_g2DS_dHE2I1m8FG_Xhnx8JqjFD5cxdjozGXVHdT7Svnp3X0_Xc6Yijhjnx0TBl95QFcKeN5dknoMf0sfqwqsn79lO9AsvZilezrwM2Y/s1600/20180828_211037.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1150" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8ke2BkNtjCSP99Z1DkkL30XTk4zM2f0gGxvf_g2DS_dHE2I1m8FG_Xhnx8JqjFD5cxdjozGXVHdT7Svnp3X0_Xc6Yijhjnx0TBl95QFcKeN5dknoMf0sfqwqsn79lO9AsvZilezrwM2Y/s400/20180828_211037.jpg" width="286" /></a></div>
<br />
And, not really a trend, but something I again used to do on a consistent basis and have not been doing, I finished the inside of this card as well.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgULVZNBz5trSsvcFKA2ykKYpnenbtUp8FJCZ0k6FP7xEfQhclvMQjBoRHbZnU8eSCnw08VHL1_l4q6BSCogNziXaff5im5irDV2_cO63OyO6MwNNJj2iJ8UA4GADFt1cRPp4i2JYEHiBs/s1600/20180828_211159.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1182" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgULVZNBz5trSsvcFKA2ykKYpnenbtUp8FJCZ0k6FP7xEfQhclvMQjBoRHbZnU8eSCnw08VHL1_l4q6BSCogNziXaff5im5irDV2_cO63OyO6MwNNJj2iJ8UA4GADFt1cRPp4i2JYEHiBs/s400/20180828_211159.jpg" width="295" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This card is on its way across the country for my grandson's 6th birthday later this month.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So head on over to <a href="http://lilredwagon.blogspot.com/">Little Red Wagon</a>, check out the inspiration from the other girlfriends and link up a project containing a trend, new or old, of your own. Looking forward to seeing what you create.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Have a great day!!</div>

Today I want to show you my August set up of my bullet journal. I have been using a bullet journal for about two years now on and off after being introduced to the system by my daughter-in-law. Planning helps me organize my life and get things done. And I have also found it is such a great creative outlet as well.<br />
<br />
My bullet journal is an emerald Leuchtturm 1917 in the 8" x 5.5" size. Markers are Faber-Castell PITT artist pens (black) in the sizes XS, S and B. Gold and yellow are Crayola Supertips. The theme for August is fairy lights.<br />
<br />
First off is my cover page.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFk5a4DJNg0OexDc-JbgQuCfFijHvCcC2ZVOgaBD2HrLFn195YOz9okJQt1jup4n735DEQSios4b_9p5SXYIR15AKu3sPf9wArcLCnV1R7VZTtN9ScrvjPFw-tS222A3bvb1fbbiayBg0/s1600/IMG_4816.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1203" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFk5a4DJNg0OexDc-JbgQuCfFijHvCcC2ZVOgaBD2HrLFn195YOz9okJQt1jup4n735DEQSios4b_9p5SXYIR15AKu3sPf9wArcLCnV1R7VZTtN9ScrvjPFw-tS222A3bvb1fbbiayBg0/s400/IMG_4816.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Next, is my monthly calendar. I add all of the events I want to remember in the squares.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi17hxc6lSRu9ukhIsFBWn_kKCAlFAO8NUsFpe90PNbObdTvYupmHqJx-K8lStMGcU-Xx6JjhPPAXu5UsIwd8-PNNdfKBsHwCRsOnnloH17a_R4iHpoquXnlnhFZt6fsoCDFvTmFnFkV0o/s1600/IMG_4817.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1023" data-original-width="1600" height="255" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi17hxc6lSRu9ukhIsFBWn_kKCAlFAO8NUsFpe90PNbObdTvYupmHqJx-K8lStMGcU-Xx6JjhPPAXu5UsIwd8-PNNdfKBsHwCRsOnnloH17a_R4iHpoquXnlnhFZt6fsoCDFvTmFnFkV0o/s400/IMG_4817.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Then we have my daily review. In this spread I colour code how my day was and write a couple of lines or a quote that I want to remember for that day.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcMwHKGEMnOuaYrUw5VoPLvPwW5j1l_VJpjq_UhqP0Q22fIv5cR7DpUWuBqR4onDc0jyvSQaz06FiwX-ohEDZSOfRxmw5lxJNpOOqIiPmfXw43RkuUWwO-HSHs1JTOLQt5L5Q56DEahBE/s1600/IMG_4819.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" height="266" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcMwHKGEMnOuaYrUw5VoPLvPwW5j1l_VJpjq_UhqP0Q22fIv5cR7DpUWuBqR4onDc0jyvSQaz06FiwX-ohEDZSOfRxmw5lxJNpOOqIiPmfXw43RkuUWwO-HSHs1JTOLQt5L5Q56DEahBE/s400/IMG_4819.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The next page is my daily gratitude log. I write down one thing that I am grateful for a day whether big or small. The second half of this page is my creative commitments for the month. I filled it in already so there are some hints here of my design team month to come...oops!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

Following that is my habit tracker. These are habits that I want to do on a daily basis. It is interesting to see how my day affects the habits that are actually done. I can see how my energy affects my productivity by tracking habits as well.</div>

Lastly, we have the first weekly entry. I used a technique called a dutch door where I cut a page in my journal in half and use each daily space to write down my tasks. One side is for weekly events and the other is for a tiny month with the week highlighted. And, of course, a Bible quote. </div>

Welcome to a new challenge at <a href="http://lilredwagon.blogspot.com/">Little Red Wagon</a>. I am your hostess this week and the theme I have chosen is SKETCHY TIMES ~ I want to see you use your favourite sketch for your project whether it be a card or a scrap book layout. Sketches are a great start to your creativity and are my "go to" when I need that jump start.<br />
<br />
I used the Kraftin' Kimmie July monthly sketch pictured here:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5TuXxNNCLQ-Xe40rzHHV1XsQeh-lpgPVS1NNSDzgDDhFEcRmMREJPnCMvcw5GaW6ddAjJmqj1h1gJFUb3mov1lnG58XqVBwnF7G8FHkB6uzrDWPQXV6lSjtubeVL3iRG5inSbiCR657M/s1600/Kraftin%2527+Kimmie+sketch+for+LRW.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="956" data-original-width="960" height="317" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5TuXxNNCLQ-Xe40rzHHV1XsQeh-lpgPVS1NNSDzgDDhFEcRmMREJPnCMvcw5GaW6ddAjJmqj1h1gJFUb3mov1lnG58XqVBwnF7G8FHkB6uzrDWPQXV6lSjtubeVL3iRG5inSbiCR657M/s320/Kraftin%2527+Kimmie+sketch+for+LRW.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And here's my take on it. Stamp and sentiment are from Kraftin Kimmie Magical Friends set coloured with Copics. Patterned paper is Echo Park Imagine That. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>

Head on over to <a href="http://lilredwagon.blogspot.com/">Little Red Wagon</a>, check out the inspiration from my amazing talented design team girlfriends and then link up a sketchy project of your own.
