Good morning friends!

Cardstock from Michaels, DCWV Glitter Matstack

Doodlecharms Cricut cartridge, dragonfly cut at 3"

Nothing New Here:)

Hi all!

Usually by this time in the week I have something new to share with you.  But this week I do not.  Between working long days and a few minor (or major depending on your outlook) crisis's I have not spent a SINGLE hour in my pink castle.  And I can not even get into it for things on the floor that are not crafting related...believe me, another story altogether....but I hope to have something new created to share with you by the weekend.

If you haven't already and you have a Facebook account please pop over and become a fan or I think it is called "Like" now my page named "Princess Paper Projects".  It will have all the blog updates on it so that you will know to come check here.

BUT.....I will also have two VERY big announcements to share in the coming little while.  I am extremely excited about both.  Stay tuned for updates!

Father's Day Wallet

I hope everyone had a good Father's Day.  I had a great day with my Dad, Mom, hubby, sister and her significant other.  Lots of laughs when we all get together.  This is the wallet that I made for my Dad.  Couldn't post it any sooner as he reads here :)

Inside:

The instructions for this project can be found on the video here at Canadian Nickel Scrapn.  I thought it was such a perfect way to give my Dad a gift card, a couple of pictures and a sentiment all in one.

For those of you who follow my blog, I have set up a page on Facebook called "Princess' Paper Projects".  Click here to "Like" my page and follow there as well.

Thanks for stopping by, my friends.  Hope to see you all back here soon.

Another Create A Critter Card

Hello friends.  Just wanted to send a shout out to my new followers.  Thanks for being interested in my small part of this big crafting world.  I hope my projects can inspire you to be all that you can be.

The inspiration for this card was the ribbon.  When I saw ribbon with "critters" on it at work I just knew it would make a great addition to cards using the Create A Critter cartridge.

Everything except the new ribbon was from my stash of supplies.  I used the Create A Critter cricut cartridge and My Pink Stamper Everyday Occasions stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope to see you all again soon.

Grad Card for Made by Momo's Blog Challenge

Good evening all!

I actually didn't think I would have anything to make for Momo's Tuesday Challenge this time but was asked to make a card that fit perfectly.  I made this card for our co-op student at work who is graduating high school and leaving us to venture into the real world.

  Inside of card:

Supplies Used:

Card stock, paper, ribbon, bling from my stash

Create A Critter and Wild Card cricut cartridges

Inkadinkadoo stamps, CTMH Chocolate ink pad

Peachy Keen Medium Critter faces stamp

I did not own a cartridge that had a graduation cap on it so I cut out the grad cap card on blackout from Wild Card at 2", trimmed off one side and voila! a small grad cap to fit my owl.

Enjoy my friends!  Happy crafting and I hope to see you all back very soon.

50th Anniversary Card

Hello everyone!  I thought I would share my latest card with you.  I have not been working on cards a lot lately as I have had a couple of other projects on the go which I will share soon.  This was done for my Mom to give to a couple at their 50th anniversary party in a couple of weeks.  I wanted something elegant and classy.  I think this works.

Inside of card:

Supplies Used:

All cardstock Michaels Value pack

Sentimentals (frame) and Plantin Schoolbook (50) Cricut cartridges

D'Vine Swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder

Michaels $1.50 bin wooden stamp

Creative Memories flowers

Misc. brad, ribbon

For any of you who are waiting for me to make another video, I just want to let you know that videos are on hold for a bit.  I am having technical difficulties.  If anyone knows how to convert a file from a .mov file (that my camera saves the video in) to a .mpeg file or an .avi file or any of the files that allow me to edit in Windows Movie Maker please either leave a comment here or e-mail me.  Once I figure out how or if I can even do that I will begin to film another video.  Until then, I will continue to post pictures of projects a few times a week.

Thanks for visiting me.  I really appreciate everyone who visits on a regular basis and those that drop in just once. Please feel free to leave a comment so that I can come and visit your blog as well.  It has been great getting to "meet" so many new crafting friends.

Summer Project Challenge at Canadian Nickel Scrap'n

Good Saturday afternoon everyone!  I hope you are all enjoying it.  The weather is beautiful here and I am going to go enjoy some outside time soon with a walk in the park.  But first I have a creative project to share.

Nicole over at Canadian Nickel Scrap'n is having a challenge for a chance (or more) to win a "Summer Vacation" Cricut cartridge.  You also can join by clicking this link: http://canadiannickelscrapn.blogspot.com/2010/06/episode-22-summer-vacation-seasonal.html.  Instead of a card I chose to do a scrapbook layout as the creative part of the challenge.

A close up of the jellyfish:

Supplies Used:

Patterned paper  Imaginisce "A Shore Thing" collection

Cardstock Michaels

Create A Critter Cricut cartridge for jellyfish and title

Martha Stewart zig zag border punch

A Card and Matching Gift Bag "Fit for a Princess"

Good morning, everyone! I had hoped to share my second video with you all today but I am planning on improving it from my first, adding titles and music, etc. and at the moment it is overwhelming me so I am waiting on some help from someone who knows what he is doing. In the meantime, I had made this set for my great-niece for her birthday and had not shared it yet.

Supplies Used:

Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut cartridge, card princess cut at 4" and bag princess cut at 3"

Peachy Keen stamp set PK-491 Everyday Character Faces

All papers, ribbon, bling and gift bag were just from my stash again (I am really trying to use up what I have and sometimes it has been around so long I don't even remember where it came from :)

Since making this set I have ordered the Everyday Character Face Assortment from Peachy Keen stamps and am just waiting to get it in the mail. The small princess on the gift bag was originally for the card but I did not have a small face set so I made a bigger one for the card and put the small princess to the side. When I went to wrap the gift I thought the bag looked plain so added the princess. I just tried to copy the face the best I could freehand. And in just talking to my niece a few minutes ago, I hear the bag is going to be used again for another "princess" birthday.

Happy Thursday my friends. Enjoy your day!
