Little Red Wagon Challenge #381 ~ Season of Love

Good morning!!  Welcome to a new challenge starting today at Little Red Wagon.  I am the hostess this week and my theme is SEASON OF LOVE.  Now what I mean by that is I want to see products from manufacturers that you love to use on your projects.  I want to see your favourite stamp companies, paper lines and whatever else you love to use on your cards.

It was hard for me to decide on what to use for my card today but by far my favourite stamp manufacturer is Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, a Canadian company that belongs to a friend of mine.  The set I used is called Sending All My Love which is retired now as she went from rubber stamps to clear stamps recently.  Patterned paper is MME. Banner die is Your Next Stamp, another company I use lots.  Most cards I make also include Tim Holtz distress inks and Copic markers and paper ~ all "go to" products for me.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Hello there and Happy Valentine's Day!  It's funny because I am not much into this "made up Hallmark holiday" and yet I have the most posts for it this month.  But love has lots of seasons and I guess this is just my season to produce cards...hee!hee!.....although you may see more for the next holiday that comes along too :)

This is the card that I made for my hubby and because I forgot to photograph it before I signed it you get to see that too.  I think that this stamp set called "Pizza my Love" by Lawn Fawn is just adorable and I love the way this card turned out.  It is my new go to of 4" x 4" on an ivory card base.  Patterned paper is from my scrap bin.  Note that the outside pizza slice is meat lovers and the inside is veggie.  We can never agree on toppings for pizza. LOL!!

Hubby and I are off together today and we are going to a pizza place that serves heart shaped pizza for lunch so thought this card was most appropriate.

Have a great day!!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #380 ~ Colour Combo (Card #1 of 3)

Good morning.  Welcome back to another new challenge day for Little Red Wagon.  Our hostess this week is Sandy and she has a colour combo for us ~ use pink and/or red and black on your project.  Yes, they are perfect for Valentine's Day but you don't have to make a project related to that.  Check out Sandy's birthday card HERE along with all the makes from all of the other amazingly talented girlfriends.

For my project today I did go with the Valentine's Day theme and used all three colours on my card.  I have been on a 4" x 4" card kick lately.  Stamp and sentiment are from Your Next Stamp Love and Smiles set.  Paper is Doodlebug Love Bug from a few years ago.

This card is for my oldest grandson.  I have 3 grandchildren and have made each of them a card.  You'll have to come visit tomorrow and Friday to see the other two as I thought each child deserved their own blog entry.  :)

So why not head over to Little Red Wagon and link up a project of your own this week.  You have until next Tuesday.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hope to see you soon.

Read to Me ~ PDE Linky Party Anything Goes

Hello all!  Today is our ANYTHING GOES challenge week at PDE Linky Party.  So create whatever you want and be sure to join us.

My card is a very special one to me.  It was made for a dear friend of mine whose first book is being published this month.  She wanted a few blank cards to send as thank yous to people who have supported her along the way.  Paper and embellishments are from Recollections.  Stamps are from My Favorite Things Our Story.  Can I just say that the MISTI rocks?  I used it to stamp all of the book stacks and then followed up with the vase on top.  And perfect positioning every single time.  Coloured the image with my Copics.  Her comment: "You captured my personality in these cards."  That made me smile.

Thanks for dropping by.  Have an incredible weekend.  And make some time for you!!!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #379 ~ How Tweet It Is!

I can not believe how fast the time is flying in 2017.  A month has gone already and it is February 1st which happens to also be a Wednesday and the start of a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Kate's our hostess and her theme ~ HOW TWEET IT IS!  She wants to see your projects with birds on them.

I pulled out a very old retired stamp set from The Greeting Farm to find my bird.  Owls are birds, correct?  I made a small note card that I will use to send to a friend as my card for this month.  She is a colourful owl coloured with my Copic markers and paired up with paper from Echo Park I Love Sunshine.  I wanted it to be something that would brighten the day for someone.
