Penguin Package ~ PDE Linky Party

Good afternoon.  Time for a new PDE Linky Party and this week our theme is ANYTHING BUT A CARD.  Time to show us those projects such as a scrapbook page, a pocket page, bookmarks, mini albums, etc.  There are so many fun things to do for this challenge.

Today I have a gift bag that I decorated to share.  I am making up a few of these to sell at the upcoming show.  My inventory will consist of cards in two sizes, tags and bags.  And, wonderful news, I am almost finished creating it all.  Only two more weeks. Bag is from the $ store, stamp is Lawn Fawn Snow Cool and all the rest are from my stash.

Glad you could drop by.  Please come back soon. And why not join us at PDE Linky Party with a non-card (is that even a word) project of your own.

Have a FANTASTIC Friday and a WONDERFUL weekend.

Little Red Wagon Challenge #365 ~ Stencil It!

Hello there.  Today marks the beginning of a new challenge at Little Red Wagon this week and our hostess is Kate.  Her challenge is titled STENCIL IT! ~ she want to see the use of stencils on your projects.

I do not own any stencils so I was wondering how I was going to do this challenge.  And I went to my usual spot for inspiration, Pinterest, where I found an idea on how to make your own stencils by using a die cut.  I die cut my snowflakes and used them as the stencil.  When I was finished they looked like this:

which resulted in a card looking like this.  What you can not see in the photo is that I went over each snowflake with my Clear Wink of Stella so this card really sparkles.  The stencil is done on water colour paper with Tim Holtz Broken China distress ink.  Patterned paper and sentiment are Lawn Fawn.  Twine is American Crafts and button is from my stash.

Hope you can join us this week at Little Red Wagon and show us your use of stencils on your projects.  Remember to hop around to all the other girlfriends for inspiration too....and leave us some love so we know you were there :)

Have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY!!

Oh Deer ~ PDE Linky Party

Good morning.  Anyone who has been anywhere in my universe the past few weeks knows that I am madly scrambling to get inventory for a Christmas craft show ready.  (Note to self: Start much earlier next year.....you may get accepted to the show you thought you wouldn't.  No mad scrambling!) But today is ALL TAG day at PDE Linky Party and that is a help to me.

I have a number of small tags featuring deer to show you. These deer are from sets of Kraftin' Kimmie Shake It Up and Lawn Fawn Cheery Christmas.  Paper is also Lawn Fawn Winter and Christmas Plaids.  Merry Christmas stamp is from the $1 bin at Michaels a couple of years ago.  And the sparkles are being used up from my stash.

I know some of you have seen these pictures on my Facebook feed but I wanted to share them here as I am so excited about them and basically, we are now "making it real".

This is my new banner for my table at the craft sale:

and here is my business card:

Thanks for coming by.  Don't forget to head on over to PDE Linky Party with your tags this week.  Check out what the other ladies have done for inspiration.

See you soon.

Little Red Wagon Challenge #364 ~ Let's Party!!

Hello once again.  If these weeks were any shorter, I am not sure if I would accomplish anything.  I hope I can say time flies when you are having fun as I try to get organized for this craft show.  I have 4 more weeks.....and hopefully things will go back to "normal".  What that really means is not stressing about how little I got done in a week for the show.

Well, it is another challenge day at Little Red Wagon and today our fearless leader Jan is in charge.  Her theme is LET'S PARTY ~ now as fun as that sounds she does have a certain kind of party in mind ~ birthday parties.  We want to see your birthday party celebration projects this week.  October in our family is full of birthdays so this was great timing for me.

Stamp used is Stamping Bella Game On and matching paper is from Simple Stores So Rad.  Coloured up with my Copics and the addition of a few matching enamel dots and a masculine birthday card ready to go.

Little Red Wagon Challenge #363 ~ Best Witches

Hello.  Well, Wednesday has rolled around once again (and it seems like it comes faster each week) and that means it is time for a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Our hostess this week is Donna and her theme is BEST WITCHES~ she wants to see witches on your projects.

Any one who knows me well or who has been following my blog for more than a year knows that Halloween is my least.....and I mean my very least.....favourite time of the year.  So when the Halloween themed challenges come up I have a super hard time.  Truthfully I was going to ask to skip this one.  I have no Halloween witches (or anything else for that matter) in my stash at all.  But hubby convinced me otherwise and so I went on a search for a "cute" witch and came up with this adorable owl that is actually a colouring page.  She is cute, is wearing a witch's hat and has a broom so she qualifies for the challenge.  I coloured her up with my Copics and paired her with Simple Stories Pumpkin Spice.

Head on over to the Little Red Wagon website and check out the inspiration by the other girlfriends.  And then why not link up a witch (cute or otherwise) of your own this week.

Have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY!!!!

Merry & Bright ~ PDE Linky Party

Hello there. It's time for a new challenge today at PDE Linky Party and there's just a wee change that has been made.  We now go live at noon EST so you will be seeing my posts a little later.  Today is the first Friday of the month of October and the theme for the week is ANYTHING GOES ~ a real easy one and you can all join in.

I am continuing the Christmas theme on the cards I have to share.  Images, sentiments and paper are all Lawn Fawn.  I like the way these turned out and they were pretty quick and easy so you may see a few more of the same design.

As always, thanks for dropping by.  And, if there are ever any cards you see that you would like to purchase just leave me a comment and I will get back to you. Why not join us at PDE Linky Party with a project of your own?!

On a personal note, a big shout out and a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my Dad today. Thanks for all you do for your family.  We love you!!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #362 ~ Colour Combo of Green, Orange and Purple

Hey there.  It's Wednesday and the beginning of a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Brenda is our hostess and her theme is a Colour Combo of Green, Orange and Purple.  I don't usually find colour combos challenging but since this particular one contains none of my "go-to" colours it was a hard one for me.

I finally decided to use the combo in a vase of flowers and since it is Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend to make it into a Thanksgiving card.  Digital stamp is from a free colouring page and coloured with my Copics.  All card stock and patterned paper were in my stash.  Can't say I am totally thrilled with the result but meh, that's the way it is sometimes.

A close up of the flowers:

So why not drop by Little Red Wagon and see the inspiration from the other girlfriends and try out something with this colour combination.  Can't wait to see what you create.

Have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY!
