A Little Bit Country

Hello there.  Last Saturday I had high hopes of joining the on line crop with my friends from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps.  You see I was supposed to actually be cropping with them but for health reasons I got benched and had to stay home.  So the next best thing.....spend the entire day in my craft room and get all of the challenges done with more besides.  Yep, high hopes....it is a week later and I have been able to finish one challenge and this card is for the second one.  Don' t think I will get three more done before tomorrow at midnight.  It seems all I have been doing lately is travelling to the doctor and sleeping.  I pray there is an end in sight.  Finally it seems a treatment is working. On to my card.  It uses Lulu from the Down on the Farm 2 set and is just too cute.

With Sympathy ~ Masculine Style

Hello there and Happy Thursday!!!  For those of you who saw my Father's Day card HERE this card is  going to look incredibly familiar.  I copied the exact pattern I used and made it with different colours, papers and a big button instead of a brad.  I had to make a sympathy card which are hard enough as it is but to have to make one going to a man alone makes it worse.  I liked the masculine look of the card and so just copied it.  What a versatile card this is going to be.  I may just be using it most of the time for guys :)

Happy Father's Day!!!

Good Morning.  Happy Father's Day to all the special men in my life.  All men have some kind of father influence on the younger people that are brought into their lives.

So, how many of you are on Pinterest?  I know I can get lost on there for hours just looking at all the great ideas for all the projects and recipes I would like to try.  But I barely use any of the wonderful ideas I have pinned.  Well, the card I made for my Dad is the exception.  I saw the idea on Pinterest and made one very similar.  I like the resulting masculine look of the card as that is something I always struggle with.

Cuttlebug ~ Darice Woodgrain embossing folder
Your Next Stamp Fishtail/Banner Die Set

Thanks for stopping by today.  Just a quick post for ya.  Have a wonderful day no matter what your plans.

Pause, Dream, Enjoy Linky Party #11 ~ Food or Beverage

Good morning.  Welcome to the mid way point in the challenge for Pause, Dream, Enjoy.  There have been a few changes since the last time I posted for this creative team.  You will notice that the above link takes you to a dedicated blog for our challenges and here is the link again where you add your project: PDE LINKY PARTY.  We have split the team in two and I am on Team B meaning I will post at the half way mark of the two week challenge.  So you still have one week to add your creation to the FOOD OR BEVERAGE CHALLENGE.

Here's what I did.  Who doesn't like ice cream on a hot Summer day?  This "little" guy from Your Next Stamp is so cute with his ice cream sundae that is bigger than he is.  I am sure he would be extremely full if he ate all of that.

Copic Xpress It Card Stock
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Image and Sentiment ~ Your Next Stamp "Yummy in my Tummy"
Copic Markers
Card Stock ~ Recollections
Patterned Paper ~ Echo Park "A Perfect Summer"

Until next time, keep crafting.
