Little Red Wagon Challenge #304 ~ A Colour Challenge

Good Morning.  Glad you could make it for a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  I am the hostess this week and I have a colour challenge for you: PINK, TURQUOISE AND GREEN.  You can add neutrals or even a bit of another colour as long as these three are the focus.

I coloured up Mini Birthday Fhiona from Your Next Stamp with coloured pencils on a tag added to the card.  I used some Cuttlebug Embossing folders to give the colours some depth.  A few faux flowers and voila, a cute birthday card.

Please take some time to visit all of the other girlfriend's blogs to see what they have made and leave them some love.  Then head back over to Little Red Wagon and link up a project of your own using PINK, TURQUOISE AND GREEN.  I will be visiting you all this week.

Have a GREAT day!

For My Bestie ~PDE Linky Party

Good morning!  Glad you could take a few minutes to come visit me at my little corner of the crafting world.  Today starts a new challenge at PDE Linky Party.  Our theme for this week, as you can see, is BESTIES cards.

I used a stamp from Stamping Bella's Uptown Girls Collection called Uptown Girls Pattie and Dottie Friends Forever and coloured it up with my Copic markers.  The sentiment is included with the stamp. Patterned paper is from MME Breeze. Flowers and enamel dots are dollar store finds.  A great way to say Happy Birthday to your Bestie.

Little Red Wagon Challenge #303 ~ Pick Up the Pieces

Good Morning!  Is it HOT where you live?  It sure has been hot here the last week or so.  We don't have air conditioning in the apartment so it has not been pleasant.  Glad we have fans and the apartment pool to use to cool off.  I hope you are enjoying the last few weeks of Summer vacation.

It is Wednesday and time for a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Our hostess this week is Carolyn and she wants us to PICK UP THE PIECES.  Let's see some paper piecing on your project.

I used an image from Your Next Stamp called Fairy Fhiona, coloured her with my Copic markers and paper pieced the dress.  Her wings are shining with Wink of Stella Clear.  Sentiment is Michaels $1.50 bin.The paper is Jillybean Soup Coconut Lime Soup. A Martha Stewart Butterfly punch and Your Next Stamp gumdrops in olive round out the embellishments.

Head on over to Little Red Wagon to check out what the other girlfriends have paper pieced and link up a project of your own.

Have a great day, my friends!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #302 ~ Vellum

Good day!  Welcome to a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Today we also have another new girlfriend with her first challenge.  It is Mandy's turn to hostess and she wants us to use VELLUM on our projects.

I was totally inspired from the girlfriend's who used vellum for their shaker cards last challenge that I created a vellum window containing snow The camera really did not pick it up so well but the snow falls on both the inside and outside of the window.  This is my first holiday card so one down....a lot to go!!  I used dies from Memory Box, Your Next Stamp and Marianne Designs to create this window and sentiments.  All the paper was from my stash along with the ribbon and bling.

I hope you can join us at Little Red Wagon this week for our VELLUM challenge.  Visit the page, and all the links for the other girlfriends, get inspired and link up a project of your own.  Can't wait to see what you create.

Little Red Wagon Challenge #301 ~ Shake It Up!

Good Morning!!  Thanks for dropping in to join me for another Wednesday challenge at Little Red Wagon.  This week our hostess is one of our new girlfriends, Donna, and her challenge for us is to SHAKE IT UP! She wants you to try a shaker card.  They are very popular at the moment so if you have never tried one now is the time.  There are lots of tutorials and inspiration on YouTube and Pinterest if you want to know how to make one.

I used bright, fun paper from Echo Park and teamed it up with a mini stamp and die set called Mini Yippee Fiona by Your Next Stamp.  She was coloured with my Copics.  I added some thick twine and a button to finish off this card. It was fun and the shaker part gives it some interest and dimension.

So, check out what the other girlfriends have created at Little Red Wagon and link up your shaker cards.  Can't wait to see what you create.

Have a GREAT day!
