Little Red Wagon Challenge #408 ~ Sip It!!

Good Morning.  Welcome back to another new challenge day at Little Red Wagon.  This week our hostess is yours truly (that's me, in case you didn't get it) and my theme is SIP IT!!  I want to see beverages on your project ~ whether it be coffee or some fruity exotic drink I want to see them all.

Here's what I did.  I actually was the overachiever and made two projects for today ~ a card and a tag. Not that this makes up by any means for days that I missed :)

First,  my card features a retired stamp from Your Next Stamp called Martini birds.  I just think these two birdies sitting on the drink make such a cute pair. Paper is Echo Park Here and Now.  Embellishments for both projects are Your Next Stamp Gumdrops.

Second is a tag featuring another stamp set from Your Next Stamp called Cup of Cheer.  The coffee die is also Your Next Stamp. Patterned paper is Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Winter.  I am going to add this tag to a gift of specialty coffee for a friend.

So now why not head on over to Little Red Wagon, check out the inspiration from the other girlfriends and link up a beverage project of your own.  Can't wait to see what you all come up with and I will visit y'all I promise.

Glad you could drop by.  Have a great day!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #407 ~ Bow(s) and Arrow(s)

Hello there.  It's that time of the week again... Wednesday and a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Our hostess this week is Sandy and her theme is BOW(S) AND ARROW(S).  She wants to see either bows, arrows or both on your projects.

I found this great paper from Echo Park The Story of Us with the arrows on it when I started to look at what to do for this challenge and when I coloured up the troll from Your Next Stamp Insanely Happy set I noticed she had a bow in her hair so I got them both covered :) Sentiment is from the same set.

Glad you could come by.  Don't forget to head on over to Little Red Wagon, check out what the girlfriends have done for inspiration and link up a Bow(s) and Arrow(s) project of your own.

Have a GREAT day as always!!!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #406 ~ Bugs and Slugs

Hello there.  Welcome to another new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Kate is our hostess this week and her choice is BUGS AND SLUGS.  She wants to see bugs, insects, butterflies, etc. on your project.

Well I looked through my entire stash of stamps, both physical and digis looking for something that fit this theme.  That was a job in itself.  I came to one conclusion.....I am ABSOLUTELY NOT A FAN of bugs, insects, butterflies, etc.  :)  Truth be told (and for those of you that know me, this comes as no surprise) I despise all of the above mentioned critters, even to the extent of having panic attacks when certain ones come near me.  So just when I was about to give up, I found this tiny cartoon-y butterfly in a set of stamps from High Hopes that I won.  So I coloured it up with my Copics, put it on a Thank You card using the sentiment from the same set and called it done.  Sorry, Kate, that I had such a hard time with your challenge this week.

Head on over to Little Red Wagon, check out what the other girlfriends have made (and I am sure they did not have as hard a time as I did), and then join us with a SLUGS AND BUGS project of your own.

Have a wonderful Wednesday.

Little Red Wagon Challenge #405 ~ Favourite Products

Good morning. Well, after a week's break I am back at Little Red Wagon and ready to tackle a new challenge.  Mandy is our hostess and her theme is an easy one.  She wants to see your favourite products on your projects ~ they could be from a certain company or an actual product itself.

My choice is absolutely NOT what you think it is going to be.  Although Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is my ALL-TIME BAR NONE favourite I use them almost every week so went in a different direction today. I made a page of a quote in my bullet journal using my favourite colours, inks, flowers and birds.  The distress inks from Tim Holtz in Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, Broken China and Mowed Lawn were placed on a plastic sandwich bag, misted with water and then added to my journal page for the background.  The hummingbird and hibiscus stamp are from another of my favourite Canadian companies, Your Next Stamp.  I printed a quote I found about hummingbirds and if there is anything I wish I had done differently it is the lettering.  Not a big fan of my handwriting but am working on it.  The photo mat is for a picture of a hummingbird at the feeder at the trailer.  They are hard to capture so it may be a while :)

Bullet journalling has become a creative outlet for me as it incorporates planning and creativity and art journalling too.  I haven't been as consistent at it lately as I would like to be.  But another thing I am working on.

Thanks for dropping by.  Head on over to Little Red Wagon, once again check out what all of the other girlfriends have created and show us your favourites, whether they be products, companies or things.

Have a great Wednesday!!!
