Ice, Ice, Baby! ~ Little Red Wagon Challenge #456

Good morning!!  Welcome back to my blog.  Things have been a little "hit or miss" around here but I am hoping to be back to my regularly scheduled posts for the rest of the Summer.  There may even be a few surprise posts thrown in.

Today is Wednesday and we start a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Imke is our hostess this week and her challenge theme is ICE, ICE, BABY! She wants to see anything with the word ice in it on your projects.  Examples are ice skating, ice cubes, ice fishing and the ever popular for Summer ~ ice cream.

I googled free ice cream images and was rewarded with this cute ice cream cone image ~ perfect for an embellishment on a tag for an ice cream treat.  (Side Note ~ I ate the last treat so nothing to put the tag on ~ LOL!) Image was coloured with Copics.  Patterned paper is from Lawn Fawn Rainbow Plaid.  Embellishments from my stash.

And once again, it's your turn.  Check out the inspiration from the other girlfriends at Little Red Wagon and link up an ice project of your own.  Maybe, just maybe, it will help us to feel cooler in this extremely HOT Summer we are having.

Thanks for dropping by.  Have a wonderful Wednesday!!!

Lights, Camera, Action ~ Little Red Wagon Challenge #454

Good Morning!  Today starts a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Our hostess is Brenda and she wants to see LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION! And by that she means a project inspired by a movie, film or show you like.

Here's my take on it.  Stamp is a retired one from Kraftin' Kimmie called Scarlett O'Hara.  I must confess I have had her for a long time but had never coloured her up until now.  She is coloured with Copics.  Patterned paper has a vintage feel and is from Kaiserkraft.  All embellishments are from my stash.  The movie is Gone With the Wind.  While it may not be my absolute favourite I do enjoy the classic romance movies better than any that are filmed today.

Now it's your turn.  Head on over to Little Red Wagon, check out the inspiration by the other girlfriends and then link up a paper project inspired by a movie.

Thanks for dropping by.  Have a great day!!!
