Tags, Tags, Everywhere....and Not Enough Time in the Day!! (PDE Linky Party)

Hello and HAPPY FRIDAY!!!  Glad you could come by. It is the fifth Friday of the month and the theme at PDE Linky Party is ANYTHING GOES this week.  So, show us something you have created whether it be a paper craft, knitted or crocheted, painted, mixed media, furniture finishing, etc.~ if you made it or crafted it it counts.

As I have mentioned before, I am trying to build inventory for a craft show I am participating in.  My goal this week was to finish 20 small tags.  Well, I went from this page of images to colour.....

to this pile of coloured images and tags.....

But only have one totally finished to share with you today.  Images are from three sets: Kraftin' Kimmie Shake It UpKraftin' Kimmie Unicorns and Rainbows and Lawn Fawn Cheery Christmas.  Paper is Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaids Christmas and Winter.  Tag punch is Creative Memories.  Sentiment stamp is Hero Arts.  Bling and ribbon from my stash.

Think you can guess what I will be doing in my free time this weekend.  Too bad I have to work both days.

Thanks for dropping by.  Have a great weekend and hope to see you soon.

Little Red Wagon Challenge #361 ~ Bear With Me!!

Hello my friends.  It has come once again to the time of the week where we begin a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Thanks to all who joined me last week when I was hostess for the SCHOOL RULES challenge.  This week Jan is our hostess and her theme is BEAR WITH ME.  Now, knowing Jan the way I have come to, she will have some witty comment for her theme, but I am just going to say that she wants to see a bear on your projects.

I am in Christmas mode as I was accepted into a local craft show and need to make lots of inventory for it so you may be seeing as many Christmas cards and projects as I can fit in that follow the weekly theme :)

This little bear was in my stash of digital stamps without a name attached so I really don't know where I got it from but I do believe it is Christmasy, cute and fit the theme.  I coloured him up with my Copics, added some Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Christmas paper, a half doily, a small punch from Stampin Up with the sentiment and a bit of bling.  Another card for the show.

A close up of the bear:

Thanks for coming by.  Please head over to Little Red Wagon and check out all the inspiration from the other girlfriends and join us with a bear project of your own.

Have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY!!!!!

PDE Linky Party Week #4 ~ Anything But A Card

Good day!  Happy Friday!!!  Today starts a new challenge at PDE Linky Party and seeing as it is the fourth Friday of the month this week's theme is ANYTHING BUT A CARD. So you could do a scrapbook page, an altered item, a treat box, mini album....lots and lots of ideas....

For my project this week, I have a page to show you in my Bullet Journal.  And I am sure many of you are asking what in the world a bullet journal is.  My amazing daughter-in-law introduced me to the concept of a bullet journal in August.  I looked at my first YouTube video HERE and was hooked.  I call it a mash up between a planner, journal and my many, many lists that I have everywhere all the time.  I bought a Leuchturm1917 in pink, a couple of pens and I was off.  It takes some effort and time but I am enjoying the journal.  This is my first real collection in it that is not a weekly "to do" list.  There are lots of ideas rolling around in my head that need to get onto paper so you may see more and more of this type of page from me in the future.  And if you want to know more, just google Bullet Journalling.  Just don't let it all overwhelm you and just start.

P.S. I can check off my first one tonight as I am at a friend's trailer with a bonfire. :)

So why not grab your craft supplies and join us at PDE Linky Party with anything but a card.  You'll be glad you did.

Have a FABULOUS FRIDAY and a great weekend.

Little Red Wagon Challenge #360 ~ School Rules!!!

Good Morning. It's Wednesday and that means it is the start of a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  It's my turn to hostess and I chose the theme SCHOOL RULES! Now that it is (almost) Fall and we are settling back into routine I want to see your projects all about school.  That could mean a layout about school, a card for your teacher or a planner page for yourself with school assignments just to name a few.

I chose to make a couple of note cards that you could put into your child's lunchbox or backpack to let them know you are thinking about them during the day.  Digital stamps are from Whimsie Doodles coloured with Copics.  Patterned paper is Crate Paper School Spirit Collection.  Sentiments are My Creative Time Just A Note placed on Your Next Stamp Banner and Fishtail Dies.

and inside is blank to write your note:

Come on over to Little Red Wagon, check out what the other girlfriends have made and then link up a school project of your own.  Looking forward to seeing what everyone creates and picking my favourites next week.

Enjoy your day!!

I would like to enter these cards into the following challenges:
Whimsie Doodles  ~ September Monthly Challenge Anything Goes with a Twist
Craft Your Passion ~ Challenge #30 Anything Goes
Crafting From the Heart ~ Challenge #128 Anything Goes
613 Avenue Create ~ Challenge #189 Anything Goes with a Twist

Kraftin' Kimmie Release Day Blog Hop

Good Sunday morning my friends.  Glad you are able to join me for my final post as a guest designer for Kraftin' Kimmie.  All NINE, yep you read that correct, 9, of the stamp sets are now LIVE in the Kraftin' Kimmie Shop.  For those who need them all there is the Gimmie Kimmie Kits which contain all 9 of the new Christmas releases.

For my card I used the Santa Paws set with the little girl and her dog.  She is coloured with Copics and patterned pieced with paper from My Mind's Eye Sugarplum.  Sentiment is from another new release set Shake It Up.  Pearls are Kaisercraft and flowers are Petaloo.  All of the supplies for this card were received in the Surprise Kit that Kimmie offered along with so much more.

Head on over to Kraftin' Kimmie's blog and check out all the amazing creation from the Krafty girls and guests.  A big THANK YOU to Kim and the Krafty girls for allowing me to join them for this great Christmas release hop.

PDE Linky Party Week #3 ~ All Tags!

Hello once again.  This has been a busy week on my blog.  Today is the start of the weekly challenge at PDE Linky Party.  The picture below is just a reminder of how the weekly challenges work.

Since this is the third Friday of September it is ALL TAGS.

This is a very simple little Christmas tag.  It uses the stamp set from Kraftin' Kimmie called Unicorns and Rainbows.  I coloured her up with Copic markers in Christmas colours and added Wink of Stella Clear to her tail and mane (although you can't really see it in the picture.) Patterned paper is Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Christmas.  The stamp is from Michaels $1.50 bin and was perfect as we all know unicorns are magic :)

Drop on by PDE Linky Party to see what my creative design team sisters have made and then why not link up a tag of your own while you are there.

Have a FANTASTIC FRIDAY and a great weekend!!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #359 ~ Be A Good Sport!

Good morning.  Today begins a new challenge week at Little Red Wagon and this week our hostess is Sandy.  Her theme is "BE A GOOD SPORT!" She wants to see sports on your projects.

The theme really was a challenge for me.  I looked through my bazillion stamps (well, not really, but I am sure it seems like it sometimes) and not too many were sports themed.  Hummmmm.....wonder why??? LOL!  I am not a sports person AT ALL!!!! I will watch hockey a bit but that's it.  I finally found this little guy on roller blades from Kraftin' Kimmie's set Let's Roll, Dude!! .  He is coloured up with my Copics, paired with Simple Stories So Rad paper pad and added stars as embellishments. Makes a great 'tween boy card.

Glad you could come by.  Head on over to Little Red Wagon, check out what the other girlfriends have made and then link up a sports project of your own.

Have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Guest Designer Sneak Peeks Day TWO ~ Shake it UP!

Welcome to Day TWO of the September Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!
Today we are sharing a preview featuring a fabulous new set from artist, Becky Pearce! Who loves snow globes???? We are super excited to show you SHAKE IT UP!!
This sweet 4x6 clear stamp set features a fabulous snow globe, of course! Plus adorable animals, accessory stamps, sentiments and more with a total of EIGHTEEN stamps for an endless combination of design possibilities.

This set was the add-on option for the Surprise Kit preorders a couple of months ago so you'll get to see some extra peeks from our krafty kustomers as you hop around the blogs today! And once again, that would be ME!!!  Christmas stamps are my fave so I took advantage of buying them early and got the added privilege of being a Krafty Guest designer for the first two days of the peeks.  From now on all the rest will be surprises for me too.  :) But I will be back for the Release Blog Hop next Sunday so don't forget to come back and see.
This card looks so simple and yet there are so many parts and so many techniques used that it took me a LONG time.  It truly is one of a kind and I don't think I will be repeating or duplicating it anytime soon. I used the snow globe, and one of the plates for the shaker part of the card.  The inside of the shaker contains the penguin, sleigh and lots of little presents from the stamp set.  I fussy cut all of these.  The background of the "shaker" is on watercolour paper and I embossed snowflakes from the set in white and then added Tim Holtz Broken China distress ink to make the snowy sky. Plaid paper is Lawn Fawn Winter Perfectly Plaid.  Martha Stewart Snowflake punch and micro beads were also used. Inside sentiment is from the stamp set too.

(Note to self for next time: Leave a bit of space for the
micro beads before placing down the small stamps so
they aren't buried.)

All the Krafty Girls and Guests listed on Kraftin' Kimmie blog (CLICK HERE) have lots of cheerful designs to share with you today featuring the SHAKE IT UP stamp set!  Be sure to hop around and leave lots of love at each and every stop because one lucky commenter will WIN a gift voucher to the krafty shop! Thanks once again for dropping in.  I have so enjoyed being a guest designer for the Christmas release and hope you liked what you have seen.

Have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY!

Kraftin' Kimmie Guest Designer Sneak Peeks Day ONE ~ Santa Paws

It's the most wonderful time of the year!!! It is for me when sneak peeks of the Christmas release are about to be revealed. Welcome to Day ONE of the Christmas Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.
Kimmie is kicking things off with this cutie patootie stamp set by artist, Emilie Goulet for all you animal lovers! We certainly can't forget them at Christmastime.
This set features two ADORABLE images plus three coordinating stamp sets and it's called SANTA PAWS!

You might remember the Surprise Kit that was available for preorder a couple of months ago and this was one of the stamp sets in the kit! And all the krafty kustomers who purchased the kit were invited to help out with the peeks today so you'll see lots of extra guest designers as you hop around the blogs. Bonus! And guess what....that would be ME!!!!
My card features the cute little girl holding her kitty and the matching sentiment.  I used patterned paper from the kit as well, My Mind's Eye Sugarplum.  Edges are inked with Tim Holtz mini distress Iced Spruce just adding enough of a vintage feel.  Bling and poinsettia sequins are from my stash.

PDE Linky Party Week #2 ~ All Cards

Hello there.  So today is Friday.  Can I hear a whoo hoo????  Who has crafty plans for the weekend?  I am going to an on line crop sponsored by Kraftin' Kimmie and the krafty girls.  There will be challenges and prizes and lots of fun.  And the best part, you don't have to leave your house and can do it all in your jammies.  :)  You can find out more details HERE if you want to join us.

Today is also a new challenge at PDE Linky Party.  The challenges have taken on a new approach and instead of weekly themes we have a schedule for you to follow to give you more flexibility in your crafting.  Here's the new schedule:

So today is the second week of September so it is ALL CARDS ~ not a hard one or a challenge for myself as lately that seems to be all I am creating.  This uses Lawn Fawn's new release Jump for Joy, paper and enamel dots from Simple Stories Pumpkin Spice, and Tim Holtz mini distress inks in Broken China and Mowed Lawn to create the background for the coloured images.  Images are coloured with Copics.

Little Red Wagon Challenge #358 ~ Fur-ever Friends!

Good morning.  It's Wednesday again (where does the time go?) and a brand new challenge begins at Little Red Wagon.  Kate is our hostess and she wants to see FUR~EVER FRIENDS.  A challenge devoted to house pets. Much to my husband's chagrin we do not have any pets at the moment but we are both partial to the feline variety.

I used one of the images from a set called A Purr-fect Day by Kraftin' Kimmie, paper from Simple Stories Carpe Diem and sequins from the Dollar Store to make up this shaker card. Outside sentiment is Lawn Fawn and inside sentiment came with the kitty set.
