First project is a card that I tried, not a new concept by any means, but something different than the usual A2 size. It is a "tall" card and will fit into a legal size envelope perfectly. The base of the card is 71/2" X 9", scored at 3 3/4". All of the paper and embellishments were from my stash. The large burgundy flower was cut from a patterned paper that co-ordinated with all of the other papers. The sentiment is hand written as the stamped one in brown was too hard to read on the burgundy paper and I do not have a white stamp pad. :)
A friend that I work with lent me a Cricut cartridge that I do not have Everyday Paper Dolls (Thanks Christine!) I wanted it to make the snowboarder boy and skiing girl originally as this is what my son and his fiancee do in the winter and I am going to take some pictures for a layout. But I got carried away and this was the result.....8 little "people" complete with bling. My hubby asked what I was gonna do with them. My answer was that I am not sure but they are cute. Any ideas????
Well, that's it for now. Happy Friday, my crafting buddies. And have a wonderful weekend as well. Not sure if I will be around or not.

ReplyDeleteLove the tall card. The little graduate would be lovely for a child "graduating" from grade school to middle school.
