Canada Day Blog Hop

Good morning, my friends!!!!

HAPPY CANADA DAY to all my fellow Canadians!

And welcome to the Canada Day blog hop hosted by my friends Tara and Jacqueline.  If you have arrived here from Kate's blog you are in the right spot.  If you have just come by to visit my blog today, you will want to go to Tara's blog to start at the beginning of the hop.  I am joined by a number of wonderful Canadian ladies who are showcasing our talents with a Canadian theme.  You will have a chance to join us to showcase your talent and a chance to win great prizes as follows:

- The Scrapbooking Cafe --- 3 X $10.00 GC
2 - Bugaboo Digital Stamps --- 7 Digital Stamps
3 - Pink By Design --- Canadian Stamp Set
4 - My Stamping Studio --- Lime Twist Products pack from My Mind's Eye
5 - Digis With Attitude --- $10.00 GC
6 - Graphic Cat Creations --- Freebie + $15.00 GC
7 - One Crazy Stamper --- $25.00 GC

All you have to do is link a project with a Canadian theme starting today through to July 7, 2011 for your chance to win.  The link is on Tara's blog. Now on to my card:

I made the red leaf paper by stamping a leaf stamp in Versamark and heat embossing with clear embossing powder.  Then I used the leaf to stamp randomly with red ink as well.  All supplies, except for the tag punch are from Michaels.  The tag punch is Creative Memories.  And this thank you goes out to all of you, my loyal followers and friends.  I appreciate every one of you and it makes me so happy when I read your comments and know that I can inspire you with my little corner of the crafting world.

Your next stop along the way is my friend Kimberley's blog.  If you get lost in your hopping the complete list of blogs is at the bottom of this post.  Thanks for dropping by today.  Don't forget to add your creative project for a chance to win.

  1. Very pretty card and that ribbon is great. I will need to be on the look out for Canadian-themed goods here and see if they sell some.

  14. Especially like the ribbon. Great Canada projects. Glad I found this Canada Day hop.
I've had the wonderful pleasure of visiting Toronto Ontario Mar this yr 2011 (enjoyed Toronto Zoo especially the polar bears, Casa Loma & downtown). During the weekend I was there it did not snow or rain and the sun was out. When I left it was raining and it snowed the rest of the wk after. Guess I brought my Central TX US Sunshine with me.
