Hello my friends. As most of you know I moved at the beginning of this month and have taken some time to settle in. Then I had some "technical difficulties". So this is my first post since then. It feels SOOOOOOOOOO good to be back!! And you have read the title correctly ~ 2 months ~ 60 short days~ until Christmas. Thanks for joining us on our monthly hop. If you have come from
Tara B's blog, you are in the correct spot. If not, you may want to head on over to
Mary's blog so that you won't miss any of the wonderful projects our great group of ladies are showcasing. We've changed it up a bit this month and have made it 2 Christmas projects instead of a card using a colouring medium and a card using a die cut. Sit back, grab a cup of coffee or your fave beverage and take some time to view our hop. And remember to leave some love along the way as we all like to know who has been visiting us.
My first project is a card set of 3 cards:
and a close up of each individual card:
RECIPE:
Card stock ~ Recollections, Bazzill
Patterned Paper ~ Echo Park 6 x 6 Very Merry Christmas
Copic markers
Punch ~ Martha Stewart
All My Memories Paper Stain ~ Chocolate
Bakers Twine ~ Martha Stewart
Buttons ~ $1.50 bin Michaels
Bling ~ Recollections
Sakura Clear Glaze Pen
Stickles ~ Golden Rod
Stampendous Crystal Snow
I think these are just the cutest ~ guess the same person has to get all three :)
My second project is also a card. I had high hopes of making something to match this card but time ran out. I am going to post it at a later date though so stay tuned.
RECIPE:
Card stock ~ Recollections
Patterned Paper ~ Echo Park 6 x 6 Very Merry Christmas
Embossing Folder ~ Couture Creations "Pere Noel"
Sentiment ~ Hero Arts
Colorbox Pigment Stamp Pad ~ Silver
Ribbon ~ Dollarama
Stickles ~ Silver
~ Crystal
Sakura Clear Glaze pen
I~Rock for jewels
I like the elegant feel of this card. No matter how I took them the picture did not do it justice ~ it is so much
shiner in person with lots of texture.
Thanks for coming by to hop with us. You are now off to
Tara K's blog (I am surrounded by Tara's). Until next time, happy crafting and "Merry Christmas!".
