"6 Months Til Christmas" Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to our monthly blog hop.  It is 6 months today until Christmas.  Not sure about where you are but here where I am it sure feels like Summer (ie. hot and humid) and I could use a little cold about now.  So creating Christmas cards helps with that.  If you have arrived from my bff, Shari, then you are in the correct spot.  If not, you should go see what she has created first and head back over here.  I will have the complete blog listing at the end of this post.

For this month's theme, we were given a photo to use for inspiration.  This photo is at my friend Shari's house when we were over just before Christmas:


For my first card, I used the traditional Christmas colours of red and green for my inspiration:
