This year one of the things I wanted to do with my crafting was try new things. My nephew did a graphic art program in school and had a set of Prismacolor pencils that he let me borrow. I wanted to try to colour an image using the pencils and odorless mineral spirits. After watching many tutorials on Youtube and Pinterest I tried it myself. I stamped the image "Friends are for Hugging" by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps twice onto plain white card stock from Michaels with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Here are the two images coloured with the list of pencil colours I used underneath. Both are so different in shades and colours. I just experimented with the colours I used to blend together. It was a fun method and I will do it again for sure. It will take some practice.

I used Sample 2 to make the card I have to show you today. If you come back later this week I will have a scrapbook layout using Sample 1.
