PDE Linky Party #14 ~ Tags

Good morning crafty friends and welcome to another mid-way point of the two week challenge at PDE Linky Party.  You have one week left to show us your projects of either a tag or adding a tag to your creation.  Tags come in all shapes and sizes and I look forward to seeing yours.

The tag I have to show you is a new to me technique that I tried.  In April at Scrapfest I bought myself some Tim Holtz mini distress inks and have been wanting to try them out.  I started with a white tag and inked it up with Christmas colours.  This process was messy and I just played with the ink and water until I got a look I liked.  I then let it dry and embossed the stamps, added the poinsettia die and the ribbons.  Voila, one tag done for a gift :)

A closer look at the embossing and die cut detail:

RECIPE:
Tag ~ Recollections (3" x 6")
Tim Holtz Mini Distress Inks ~ Mowed Lawn, Brick Red
Stamps ~ Frog's Whiskers (Poinsettia), Hero Arts (Sentiment)
Versamark Stamp Pad
Stampendous Embossing Powder ~ White
Spellbinders ~ Nestabilities Layered Poinsettia Die
Jewels ~ Recollections
Ribbons/Fibers ~ "Use It Up" Inventory

I would like to enter this tag into the following challenges:
Inky Chicks Challenge #33  ~ Christmas in July
Quirky Craft Challenge #14 ~ Christmas in July with Die Cuts/Punches
Robyn's Fetish Challenge #220 ~ Christmas in July
The Glory of Christmas Challenge #37 ~ Anything Goes as Long as its Christmas

Thanks for dropping by.  Have a wonderful day and I hope to see your tags at the Linky Party HERE!!!!
Until next time, keep crafting.
