My stash didn't include a lot to work with either but I went with "traditional" Halloween colours of black and orange from my distress inks using the masking tape technique for the base of my card. The clear stamps I believe I bought from the Michael's $1.50 bin at some point in my career there. I embossed them in white and black to stand out. Throw in a bit of baker's twine and two big buttons and a card is created.
Thanks for dropping by. Head on over to the Little Red Wagon blog and check out all the inspiration from the other girlfriends (whom I am sure came up with something better than I). And if you are so inclined dip into your wagon (or stash) and show us your Halloween creatures.
Have a WONDERFUL Wednesday.

Sorry it was a challenging challenge for you this week, Heather! But you rocked it! I adore that cat and the white embossed sentiment looks awesome.

ReplyDeleteI would say you pulled it off wonderfully! I really like that very Halloweeny kitty!
ReplyDeleteGreat card Heather! :)
ReplyDeleteWell, for someone who doesn't like Halloween, you sure created a fabulous card! I love the simplicity of your design!
