I have been experimenting using inks as backgrounds and have been looking for interesting colour combinations as well. This uses Tim Holtz mini distress inks in Seedless Preserves, Faded Jeans and Weathered Wood. It makes a great night sky background for the image from Kraftin' Kimmie. This particular set, Great Adventures, is retired but check out all the amazing stamps in her shop. I coloured him with Copic markers, stamped a moon and added a few star sequins to the sky. The inside sentiment by Hampton Arts is stamped with Hello Honey by Stamping Up. Birthday sentiment is My Pink Stamper stamped with Blackberry Bliss, again Stampin' Up. This card is winging its way in the mail as we speak to my oldest grandson who turns 4 next week. Every time we end our Skype conversations we say "Love you to the Moon and Back" so I could not resist this stamp. And I am sure I will put it in his sister's card too in November.

Join us this week at Little Red Wagon and show us how you play with your inks. And while you are there, make sure you check out what the other girlfriends have for your inspiration.
Thanks for dropping by. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
