I actually really enjoy sketches as a starting point. It takes a lot of the thinking out of the design so you can focus on the image and paper you want to use.
I used a stamp from Kraftin Kimmie called Heavenly Holiday and coloured her up with my Copic markers. Patterned paper is from Lawn Fawn Knit Picky. Embellishments from my stash. I like the traditional colours and feel of this card.
So, you know what you need to do. Head on over to Little Red Wagon, check out the inspiration from my design team girlfriends, follow the sketch and link up a project of your own. Looking forward to seeing them all.
Thanks for dropping by. Keep coming by to see all of the creations I am making at this busy time. And, I have a few surprises and changes coming up in the new year. Can't wait to share!
Lovely card, Heather! I adore that image!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet card, Heather! Your little angel looks so joyful and I love the way her hair extends out of the circle!
ReplyDeleteLove this Heather! This is one of the stamps I got last year, after Christmas and I CAN'T FIND HER! She'll show up, hopefully before I am finished with the Christmas cards. She works beautifully with the sketch.
