Thanks A Latte ~ Little Red Wagon Challenge #435

Good Morning. I am back with a brand new challenge at Little Red Wagon today.  Kate is our hostess this week and her theme ~ THANKS A LATTE.  It's all about hot beverages ~ coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc.  They are the main focus this week.  I know many of my friends who are addicted to coffee and crafting will want to play along :)

Here's what I made:

This coffee scene was made with the stamp set It's A Brew-tiful Day! by Kraftin' Kimmie.  I did a small bit of masking to overlap the coffee cups and then coloured it with my Copic markers.  Patterned paper is Lawn Fawn Plaid Chill.  Baker's twine is recycled from a Christmas gift (which was last week's theme that I missed).  Enamel dots are Your Next Stamp.

So now it's your turn.  Head on over to Little Red Wagon, check out the inspiration from the other girlfriends and link up a hot beverage themed project of your own.  Looking forward to seeing them all.

Have a great day!!!

Luurve (Love) ~ Challenge #433 at Little Red Wagon

Happy Wednesday and Happy Valentine's Day.  We start a new challenge today at Little Red Wagon,  Jan is our hostess and her challenge is LUURVE (her word for LOVE).  It doesn't necessarily have to be a Valentine's theme but can be anything love ~ wedding, anniversary or thinking of you love.

Here's the two cards I made using the stamp set from Lawn Fawn called Colour My World.  I really like the stamp set but wished there was a "u" in colour ~ I am Canadian after all.  Both of these cards were for Valentine's Day, one as a special order and the other for my hubby.

And the inside of both:

Head on over to Little Red Wagon, check out what the other girlfriends have made for inspiration and link up a love project of your own.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hope you come back soon.

Shades of Red ~ Little Red Wagon Challenge #432

(This is my second post today.  If you are looking for The Merry Christmas Challenge specifically or just want to see another one of my cards please scroll down.  Thanks!)

Hello again.  Welcome back to my blog and to a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  This week I am the hostess and my challenge is called  SHADES OF RED.  I want to see all shades of reds and pinks on your projects.  The only exception are neutrals (white, black, brown).

This card is a bit of a departure from my usual "cutesy" style and I am pleased with the way it turned out.  The rose image is a free digi colouring image coloured with Copics.  Background is Tim Holtz distress inks on watercolour paper splattered with water and black paint.  Sentiment is from Michaels $1.50 bin from many years ago.  Sequins are from my stash.  An elegant, romantic Valentine's Day card.  (and yes, the leaves of the image are green but I didn't think black leaves would be too appropriate....)

As always, head on over to Little Red Wagon and check out the inspiration of the Shades of Red from the other girlfriends.  And link up a project of your own.  You have until next Tuesday evening when I will pick the ones that stood out the most to me.

Thanks for coming by.  Have a wonderful Wednesday!!!

Let It Snow (Merry Christmas Challenge #6)

Hello.  Today begins a new challenge at

where it is ALWAYS ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS with an optional twist.  This week's twist is CHRISTMAS LIGHTS.

This is the second card of a three card on-line shaker card class I took.  (First one can be found HERE). All supplies came in a kit and I think this is my favourite of the three.  The "snow" does stick to the inside of the shaker some but it is a nice effect.

It's never too early to start your Christmas projects so why not join us this week at The Merry Christmas Challenge and link up something Christmas of your own.  Going to be great to see all of your creations.

Have a great day!!
