I try not to jump on the bandwagon for the newest trends when they first come out for budget reasons. So I went back to using something that I did on a fairly consistent basis on my cards but no longer do as much. I inked all of the edges and I really like the way they make the image and paper pop. You may see more of this "older" trend from me in the future. Stamp and sentiment are Kraftin' Kimmie Party Animals coloured with Copics. Patterned paper and enamel dots are Simple Stories Let's Party.
And, not really a trend, but something I again used to do on a consistent basis and have not been doing, I finished the inside of this card as well.
This card is on its way across the country for my grandson's 6th birthday later this month.
So head on over to Little Red Wagon, check out the inspiration from the other girlfriends and link up a project containing a trend, new or old, of your own. Looking forward to seeing what you create.
Have a great day!!
Lovely Birthday card, Heather and thanks for the reminder of "Inking Edges". I have not done this long time !!
