Just A Sentiment ~ Little Red Wagon Challenge #471

****This is my second post of the day.  If you are here for the krafty sneak peek and weren't sent directly to the post please click HERE or scroll down****

Welcome to a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Our hostess today is Imke and she's saying JUST A SENTIMENT ~ she wants to see your makes featuring a sentiment front and centre.

And this was a challenge for me ~ not that I don't have some amazing sentiments but it is unusual for me to make them the focus as I am so used to colouring an image for that.  Thanks, Imke, for getting me out of my comfort zone.  After all, that's what challenges are supposed to do.  Here's what I came up with ~

I took a sentiment from the Shake It Up set from Kraftin' Kimmie and embossed it on multi media paper in clear embossing powder (Next time I think I would use white as it would stand out better.) I then took two colours of Kraftin' Kimmie hybrid ink, Ruby Red and Enchanting Emerald, and inked them in stripes onto the paper.  I mounted this onto white card stock cut out with a Lawn Fawn Stitched rectangle die.  Flower and leaf die cuts are Your Next Stamp and Spellbinders.  Twine and dots from my stash.

Head on over to Little Red Wagon and check out some inspiration from the other girlfriends.  They are a super talented bunch.  Leave them some love on their blogs and come back and link up a SENTIMENT project of your own so we can leave you some love (ie. a comment on your blog ~ everyone likes to see some of those).

Thanks for coming by.  Enjoy the rest of your day!
