"2 Months til Christmas" Blog Hop

Can you believe the title of this post?  Only 2 months....that's 60 days.....60 of the longest days of my life in retail as our hours are extended, we get really busy and sorry to say, but the closer it gets, the crankier the customers get if they can not find something.  Please be kind to the people who work in stores this holiday season. They are doing their jobs.  Okay, enough of my public service announcement.

If you have arrived from my bff, Shari's blog, then you are in the correct place.  If not, go back there to see the wonderful cards she has created.  A bit of background on the hop....every month on the 25th of the month a group of talented ladies get together for a small hop and create 2 Christmas projects.  This takes some of the stress of creating in a hurry at Christmas off as we have a head start.  Each month we have a theme.  For the month of October, our theme was this inspiration photo:

Now it is true confession time.....want to see my cards?

Well, there they are.  One is almost finished and the supplies are picked out for the second one.  I guess that means you have to come back and visit me frequently to see if they are finished and posted....LOL!!!  I will have them done shortly I promise you.  No excuses; the time just got away from me.  It happens to all of us, right?  I just happened to get caught.  I could have stayed up all night finishing them but I also have a lot of hours to work and a cold so decided this was my best option.

Now you are off to Mary's blog to see what she has created for you.

The entire order of the hop is as follows:
Heather ~ You are HERE!

So thanks for coming by today.  Remember to keep checking to see if I have finished these cards and if not, reminding me once in a while.  I hope our hop inspires you to start your Christmas projects.

Until next time, keep crafting and "Merry Christmas."

Splendid Sunflowers

Hello there.  And welcome to another Wednesday where I post for One Crazy Stamper.  Isn't Fall a wonderful season?  I am just enjoying it so much and the weather is still clear and sunny yet just crisp enough for sweaters and fires in the evening.  I recently drove by a field of gorgeous sunflowers all ready to give away their seeds and that was the inspiration for the card I have to show you today.  It once again uses a stamp from the High Hopes stamp line called "Single Potted Sunflower".  I stamped it three times, twice close together on a sheet of Copic paper and once by itself to cut out and pop. It is a simple note card with no sentiment that could be used for any purpose.
