Ready, Set.....GO!!!!!

Good Friday morning.  This is the floor of my craft room today.

And would you like to know why????  I am selling cards at my first ever craft sale this weekend.  It happens tomorrow so by this evening all of these will be packed up in boxes and on their way.  Many emotions are running through my head ~ excited, nervous, apprehensive.  Many questions keep popping up ~ Do I have enough to sell?  Will they like the  cards? Have I remembered everything?

So I just need to take a deep breath and ENJOY!!  It will be fun.  It will be a great experience.  And I just might make a bit of cash to feed my craft addiction :)

And, in case you are local, here is where I will be.  I would love to see you.

Have a great weekend and I will chat with you all soon.  Oh, and let you know the outcome too!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #330 ~ Furry Friends

Hello all and welcome to another Wednesday where a new challenge starts at Little Red Wagon.  Before I tell you what the challenge is I just want to give a shout out to my Design Team girlfriend Carolyn and to say that you will be missed.  Taking over the challenge this week is Jan and the theme we have is FURRY FRIENDS ~ an animal themed project.

I am busy getting ready for a craft sale this week (more about that at a later date) and needed some cards for the next card holiday coming up ~ Easter ~ so I coloured up this cute little bunny and sentiment from High Hopes in both a girl and boy version.  Bunnies have fur, right? Patterned paper is from Doodlebug Springtime.  Enamel dots are Your Next Stamp gumdrops.  The rest of the embellishments are from my stash.

PDE Linky Party ~ Prayer Shawl Tags

Hey there.  Wow, my third post in one week.  That's got to be a record for a while now.

It's my week to post in the PDE Linky Party which is always Anything Goes.  Last month I showed you a tag I made for my cousin partnered with a prayer shawl crocheted by my Mom (If you missed it you can find it HERE.)  I mentioned I would be showing you some more tags I have made for this ministry and today I have a couple.

I always use the same stamps for my Mom's tags.  I have also made her note cards.  She chose the stamp and the sentiment that she wanted me to use.  Stamp is Dreamland Crafts "You are in my Prayers" and sentiment is from CARDZ TV set "Encouraging Thoughts".

Tag #1
This little cutie has a paper pieced dress.  Paper is from Dovercrafts Fairytale pack.  Flowers are white Recollections coloured with Copics to match the paper.

Tag #2
This little cutie is coloured up with Copics and uses the Simple Stories "A Charmed Life" paper pack.  Flowers and pearls are Prima and Recollections.  Both tags have inked edges.

Link up your "Anything Goes" project to our party this week HERE.

Glad you could come by.  Have a wonderful weekend and I will see you again soon.

Little Red Wagon Challenge #329 ~ Pop of Colour

Hello once again.  Today is the start of a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Our hostess this week is Mandy and her challenge is entitled "Pop of Colour" ~ she wants to see neutrals with a single colour.  Easy correct?  Wrong!  This was a hard challenge for me as I know I add lots of colours to my projects at all times.  But Pinterest to the rescue as I researched black and white cards and lo and behold an idea came to me.

I used black and white card stock and patterned paper all found in my scrap bin.  The pop of colour is Lost Lagoon from Stampin' Up, both the card stock and the inked edges.  The "HELLO" is also from Stampin' Up embossed with detail white.  Butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch. Gems are Your Next Stamp gumdrops.

I would like to enter this card into the first challenge at Paper Play Sketches.
Thanks for dropping by.  Make sure you check out what the other girlfriends have done for this challenge at Little Red Wagon and then come link up something with a pop of colour of your own.

Have a good day! See you soon.

Happy Family Day/Valentine's Day!

Hello everyone.  I am going to do something that I have not done in months.....nothing too incredible and lots of you do it every day.....but this post is not a design team post.  GASP!!!  It is just the card that I made for my hubby for Valentine's Day.  He had to work yesterday and we are both off today so our nice home cooked dinner and dessert are tonight. :)

The stamp I used is from Whimsy stamps and the paper is a mixture of Recollections and My Mind's Eye.  Sentiment inside from Michael's $1.50 bin.  Tim Holtz Tea Dye distress ink around all of the edges and metal embellishments make it more masculine.

Little Red Wagon Challenge #328 ~ Be My Valentine!

Good Morning! Today begins a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Our hostess is Donna and keeping in line with the calendar our theme is "BE MY VALENTINE". Who needs a calendar to tell the date ~ just follow the cards that are being made in the crafting world. :)

I used a stamp set from Your Next stamp called Love and Smiles and coloured up all three little images.  Paired them up with paper and sprinkles from Doodlebug Design Lovebugs.  Added twine, a button and a sentiment from my stash and viola, the perfect Valentine's Day card.  (Think I will use it for my hubby if I don't get another one made....shhhh! don't tell him!)

Little Red Wagon Challenge #327 ~ Keep Cool

Good Morning!  I can not believe it is the first challenge in February already.  The month of January just seemed to fly by.  Brenda is our hostess this week at Little Red Wagon and she wants us to KEEP COOL! That means she wants to see mostly cool colours on your project.  I was going to be witty and say that of course we will keep cool because it is Winter time but we are having a mild spell and it is not that cold.  So all the cool is on the card.

I used a stamp set from Your Next Stamp called Cup of Cheer with patterned paper from BoBunny Altitude.
