Guest Designer for Craftaholics R Us

Good Morning.  Today I am guest designing for Craftaholics R Us where the theme for this week is ANYTHING GOES.  Here's my card:

I used a digital stamp from Tiddly Inks called Sunshine Annabelle coloured up with my Copics.  Patterned paper is My Favorite Things Sweet Celebration 6 x 6 pack.  Sentiment stamp is from Your Next Stamp.  Doily and flowers are from my stash.  Enamel dots are made with Nuvo drops in Aquatic Mist.  These are one of my recent finds and I really like them.

Thanks for dropping by.  Please head on over to Craftaholics R Us and join myself, Janis and her design team for the ANYTHING GOES challenge this week.  Looking forward to seeing every one's creations. And thanks Janis for giving me the chance to guest design for you.

Little Red Wagon Challenge #403 ~ Christmas in July

Hey.  Welcome to a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Our hostess this week is Jan and since we are about halfway there her challenge is CHRISTMAS IN JULY.....never too early to start.  She wants to see our Christmas projects this week.  It is actually Christmas in July weekend at our trailer park this weekend and we get to decorate for Christmas along with fun activities for the kids.  I am looking forward to it.

Here is the card I made.  It uses two sets from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, Christmas Blessings and Christmas Blessing Sentiments.  There are so many ways to mix and match these stamps for a variety of cards.  Patterned paper is from my huge stash of Christmas.  Wooden stars are the only added embellishment.

Head on over to Little Red Wagon and check out the amazing work and inspiration by the other girlfriends and come back and link up a Christmas project of your own.  Since it is my favourite time of the year I can not wait to see all of your makes.  :)

Thanks for dropping by.  Hope to see you again soon.  Have a wonderful Wednesday.

Little Red Wagon Challenge #402 ~ Thanks Bunches!!

Good morning.  Welcome to the start of a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  I am the hostess this week and my challenge is called THANKS BUNCHES! I want to see your makes featuring thank you's.  I remember growing up we wrote lots of thank you notes to people who gave us presents and I still enjoy doing it to this day so I can always use thank you cards in my stash.

The background is made with a stencil from Vicki Boutin and Tim Holtz distress inks in Worn Lipstick, Victorian Velvet and Tattered Rose.  I splattered it with water to add effect.  Stamps and sentiment are from Your Next Stamp coloured with Copic markers.  The cookie jar is covered with glossy accents.  (This didn't turn out quite how I pictured....it looks a little too "Valentine's Day" to me; maybe it would look different if I used other colours.)

Anyhow, head on over to Little Red Wagon, check out what the other talented girlfriends have made and link up a THANK YOU project of your own.  You have until Tuesday evening when I will pick my faves.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hope everyone has a great day!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #401 ~ Wet and Wild!!

Good Wednesday morning.....oh wait...it's Thursday!  Somehow back from vacation I lost a whole day and so this post is a day late.  But isn't there a saying that goes "Better late than never"....let me just apply that.

This week our challenge theme at Little Red Wagon is Wet and Wild.  Our hostess is Sandy and she wants to see our water themed projects; a perfect challenge for Summer.

I used a retired set from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps called Rainy Day Fun and coloured up this little boy playing with the frogs in the puddles with my Copic markers.  All little ones like to do this don't they? Indulge me for a moment while I tell you a story.....Last week while on vacation it rained...A LOT.  During one of the downpours I was at a friend's trailer and when the rain stopped decided to walk the 10 minutes back to our trailer.  I had on flip flops.  The roadway was muddy with lots of puddles.  By the time I got back to our trailer I had mud all up the back of me and even in between my toes were wet and muddy.  I don't think I have ever been so muddy even as a child.   Needless to say I was never the child on my card :) And our shower worked great to clean me off. Here's my card:

Head on over to Little Red Wagon, check out the makes from the other girlfriends and link up something Wet and Wild of your own.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hope to see you soon.
