Little Red Wagon Challenge #401 ~ Wet and Wild!!

Good Wednesday morning.....oh's Thursday!  Somehow back from vacation I lost a whole day and so this post is a day late.  But isn't there a saying that goes "Better late than never"....let me just apply that.

This week our challenge theme at Little Red Wagon is Wet and Wild.  Our hostess is Sandy and she wants to see our water themed projects; a perfect challenge for Summer.

I used a retired set from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps called Rainy Day Fun and coloured up this little boy playing with the frogs in the puddles with my Copic markers.  All little ones like to do this don't they? Indulge me for a moment while I tell you a story.....Last week while on vacation it rained...A LOT.  During one of the downpours I was at a friend's trailer and when the rain stopped decided to walk the 10 minutes back to our trailer.  I had on flip flops.  The roadway was muddy with lots of puddles.  By the time I got back to our trailer I had mud all up the back of me and even in between my toes were wet and muddy.  I don't think I have ever been so muddy even as a child.   Needless to say I was never the child on my card :) And our shower worked great to clean me off. Here's my card:

Head on over to Little Red Wagon, check out the makes from the other girlfriends and link up something Wet and Wild of your own.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hope to see you soon.

  1. Sounds like it was quite a walk! I guess that's just par for the course this year.

Cute card! I love candy dots. (I'm drawing a blank on what they're called. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. :-) )

  2. ENAMEL DOTS! (Sandy said the name of them in her post. :-D)

  3. For sure this is better late than never, this is so cute! That little froggy looks just as happy as my son use to look playing in the mud=). Glad you got all clean, hope you had a restful holiday!

  4. Absolutely love this card Heather!! The images, the colouring and those watery enamel dots ... Just perfect!! :)

  5. Well, this card is certainly worth the wait! So adorable! Sounds like you had a good time on your trip!

Thank you for visiting and leaving a comment. I love to hear from you, my friends.
