Books of 2017 ~ PDE Linky Party

Hello there!!!!  It's Friday and we are one day away from the weekend.  I actually have this one off so am hoping to find time to do some crafting once I finish the chores that need caught up on :)

Today is the fourth Friday of the month and the challenge theme at PDE Linky Party is ANYTHING BUT A CARD.  There are so many things to do for this but if you are stuck check out the list on the PDE Linky Party blog.

Last year in September I began a bullet journal.  Truth be told, it fell by the wayside in the months of November and December but I have kept it up in January.  I have added a few collections or trackers as well.  This is the page where I keep track of the books I am going to read in 2017.  So far, it totals 3 and by the time this is published should be at 5.

Head on over to PDE Linky Party and link up a non-card project of your own.  Looking forward to seeing what everyone creates.

Thanks for dropping by. Have a fantastic weekend and I will see you back here soon.

Little Red Wagon Challenge #378 ~ Happy Birthday!

Well good morning and welcome to a new week with a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Our hostess this week is Mandy and her theme is HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!  Pretty self explanatory but she wants to see your birthday cards.  Great addition to our stash of cards as we always need them.

I stamped up Stamping Bella Teeny Townie Bree Loves Buttercream, coloured her up with Copics and paired her with patterned paper from Simple Stories Let's Party.

So why not head over to Little Red Wagon, check out the inspiration from the other girlfriends and link up a birthday project of your own.

Have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY!!!!!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #377 ~ Thank You

Good Wednesday morning.  It's time for a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Our hostess is Donna and her theme is THANK YOU.  Pretty self explanatory and who doesn't need this kind of card in your stash?

My supplies were Lawn Fawn "Thanks" die, Perfectly Plaid Winter paper pad and Snow Cool stamp set.  I am trying something and changing up my cards to more plain and simple designs.

Please join the other girlfriends and I at the Little Red Wagon blog, see the other creations for more inspiration and link up a thank you project of your own.

Thanks for coming by.  Have a tremendous day!

Valentine's Fun ~ PDE Linky Party All Cards

I am back on track with design team commitments and today is a new challenge at PDE Linky Party. Below is the monthly schedule of the challenges for you to see.  There have been a few minor changes.

Since today is the second Friday our challenge/theme is Cards or Project Life Cards.  Took on the Project Life challenge side of this and made some filler cards for a Valentine's Day spread. These were all made with scraps of paper from Doodle Bug Lovebugs, stamps from Michaels $1.50 bin and embellishments from my stash.  A great way to use things up.

So why not join us at PDE Linky Party with a card or pocket scrapbook filler card of your own this week.  Check out all of the amazing projects from my design team sisters as well.

Glad you dropped by.  Have a FABULOUS FRIDAY and a WICKED WEEKEND (just trying to keep up the alliteration there).

Little Red Wagon Challenge #376 ~ Resolutions

Hello all!  Time for a new challenge at Little Red Wagon; our hostess is Brenda and her theme is RESOLUTIONS.  Now we have had Hello 2017, Something New and now RESOLUTIONS.  I see a coalition of the last few weeks with the start of the year :) Brenda wants to see our projects based on our new year's resolutions.  For example, if one of your resolutions is to exercise more, you make a project based on exercising.

I am not a real resolution kind of gal as I find they don't stick but I do have some goals I have set for myself in 2017.  One of them is to stay in touch with friends and send out a card to someone at least once a month.  I have a very good friend going through a hard time and this is on its way to her.

I wanted to try something different and this card has no colouring (gasp!) on it.  I searched Pinterest for some inspiration and combined a few different ideas to get to this.  The washi tape is what I received from my hubby for Christmas made by Recollections.  All other supplies were in my scraps.  What do you think of the clean and simple look of this card?

Come on over to Little Red Wagon to see the inspiration from the other girlfriends and then link up a project of your own based on your goals or resolutions for this year.

Thanks for coming by.  Have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY!!!!

Little Red Wagon Challenge #375 ~ Something New!!!

Hello all!!  Welcome back to the first new challenge for 2017 at Little Red Wagon.  This post is up very late in the day instead of in the morning as I fell asleep so early last night it didn't happen.  I hope it is not foreshadowing of things to come this year.  Gotta get on top of design team commitments and posts scheduled :) Anyhow, Jan is our hostess this week and her theme is SOMETHING NEW! She has a very wide interpretation of this ~ it could be a new theme (new baby, new home) or a new technique for you to try or something new in your stash that you can use (Christmas gift or something you haven't used before).

I received scrapbooking/stamping goodies for Christmas from my wonderful hubby for the first time this year. He usually lets me do the purchasing as he always says he doesn't know what to get.  I did specifically ask for a MISTI (Most Incredible Stamp Tool Invented) But he added a few things of his own. Love my new supplies.

So I used my MISTI to stamp a new image from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps "Got Snow?" that I won before the holidays but had no time to play with.  I got a crisp image the first time even with all of the details.  So happy for that new tool.  I coloured him up with my Copics and made him into a filler card for my project life album.  Then I decided I needed some matching smaller filler cards as well.  These are going with pictures of my grandchildren playing in the snow my wonderful daughter-in-law sent to me.

Why not head on over to Little Red Wagon and link up a project of your own using something new?  Check out what all of the other girlfriends have made for inspiration and leave us some love.  We all appreciate your comments.

Thanks for dropping by and listening to my ramblings.  Have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY!!!
