Little Red Wagon Challenge #295 ~ Cute As A Button

Good Morning!!!  Welcome to another Wonderful Wednesday and a new challenge at Little Red Wagon.  I am soooooo  glad to be back with you this week.  Life was just getting in the way of things these last couple weeks but I think it may have just calmed down again....shh!!! if I say that out loud I might jinx it!

Our hostess this week is Tracy and her challenge for us is CUTE AS A BUTTON. She wants us to make something cute embellished with buttons.

Today's card was actually the card I gave my Dad for Father's Day.  I needed to make it do double duty as I was on a time constraint.  Creating under pressure doesn't always work but I rather like how this cutie turned out.

Kraftin' Kimmie Saturday Challenge #285 ~ Try Something New!

Happy Saturday!!!!  Happy Weekend!!!!  I must say I am enjoying having weekends at the moment as I worked them for many years.  It's time for a new challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  And this week the challenge is to TRY SOMETHING NEW.  There are so many wonderful new things to try in crafting it was hard to limit this challenge to just one. 

I tried the chalkboard technique that my friend Tracy demonstrates in THIS VIDEO.  I used one of the images and a sentiment from the newly released Let's Roll, Dude! set. Paired with dramatic colours of black, white and red I think this card makes a bold statement. (Hubby said it looks like a 3D card ~ not actually sure what that meant but I will take it as a compliment).

Release Day Hop at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

Woohoo!! It's JUNE RELEASE DAY at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  And it's being celebrated with a KRAFTY HOP.  So grab yourself a drink, sit back and be prepared for some krafty eye candy.  Lots of inspiration with these new rubber stamps.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Weekly Saturday Challenge and Sneak Peek Day Three ~ Believe in Fairytales

Hey there everyone.  Welcome back to day three of the June Kraftin' Kimmie sneak peeks.  All of the brand new stamp sets will be released tonight.  Are you excited???  I know I am.

Who doesn't love princes and princesses.....not to mention knights, frogs and dragons.  I am so thrilled to share this sweet set by Cheryl Grant.  It is called BELIEVE IN FAIRYTALES!!  This adorable set includes THREE main images plus seven coordinating sentiments.

Today I used the cute little princess combined with the frog on my card.  She was so fun to colour up with my Copics as I got to use my two favourite girly colours.  I think I like them so much because my BFF's hubby has nicknamed me Princess and I have a LOT of princess collectibles.

Kraftin' Kimmie Sneak Peek Day Two ~ Let's Roll Dude!

Hey everyone!!  Welcome back to day two of the June Kraftin' Kimmie peeks.  Have you been enjoying the peeks so far?  All of the brand new sets will be released on Saturday night.  I hope you can come to the ONLiNE RELEASE PARTY at 6pm EST.  There will be fun, excitement and prizes and you will get to hang with the Krafty girls and guests.

Little Red Wagon Challenge #293 ~ Down on the Farm combined with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Wonderful Wednesday

Hey y'all.  I would not normally combine two different challenges but this stamp was just too cute to use for only one.  That's my excuse anyhow.  It also just happens to fit both.

The challenge at Little Red Wagon is hosted by Joanne and the theme is DOWN ON THE FARM. She wants us to use a farm animal on our card.  And not just regular cats and dogs because you see them other places than a farm.  So you know, an animal like a horse, a cow, a pig....you get the point.

And it is WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY time at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps where the theme is always ANYTHING GOES.  I coloured up this cutie from the Down on the Farm 2 set and paired her with some farm animal printed paper that I also get at Kraftin' Kimmie (although it is an older paper pad that she does not have anymore.)

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Saturday Challenge #283 ~ Summer

Hi everyone.  Do I have some news for you.  I have once again been chosen to be a guest designer in the month of June for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  I am SOOOOOOOOOO excited to be a part of this great team of krafty girls once again.  So look forward to lots of fun challenge posts and of course, the sneak peeks and release of the new stamps for June.

Little Red Wagon Challenge #292 ~ "Use It Up!"

Hey there.  So like usual this Wednesday rolled around on me faster than it was supposed to.  I have lots going on in my life and I feel like I am playing "catch up" just to get the basics done.  Because crafting and my creative side get pushed to the back of the line it was so hard to find my mojo for this challenge.  And I am the hostess so it had to get done.  I am not completely satisfied with how this turned out but it is done and posted and life goes on, correct?  LOL!!!  Anyone who knows me well knows I will keep fiddling with it until I like it better.  Anyhow, I digress......
