"2 Months til Christmas" Blog Hop

Hello my friends.  As most of you know I moved at the beginning of this month and have taken some time to settle in.  Then I had some "technical difficulties".  So this is my first post since then.  It feels SOOOOOOOOOO good to be back!!  And you have read the title correctly ~ 2 months ~ 60 short days~ until Christmas.  Thanks for joining us on our monthly hop.  If you have come from Tara B's blog, you are in the correct spot.  If not, you may want to head on over to Mary's blog so that you won't miss any of the wonderful projects our great group of ladies are showcasing.  We've changed it up a bit this month and have made it 2 Christmas projects instead of a card using a colouring medium and a card using a die cut.  Sit back, grab a cup of coffee or your fave beverage and take some time to view our hop.  And remember to leave some love along the way as we all like to know who has been visiting us.

My first project is a card set of 3 cards:

and a close up of each individual card:

Card stock ~ Recollections, Bazzill
Patterned Paper ~ Echo Park 6 x 6 Very Merry Christmas
Stamps ~ Kraftin Kimmie Holiday Lulu & Libby
Copic markers
Punch ~ Martha Stewart
All My Memories Paper Stain ~ Chocolate
Bakers Twine ~ Martha Stewart
Buttons ~ $1.50 bin Michaels
Bling ~ Recollections
Sakura Clear Glaze Pen
Stickles ~ Golden Rod
Stampendous Crystal Snow

I think these are just the cutest ~ guess the same person has to get all three :)

My second project is also a card.  I had high hopes of making something to match this card but time ran out.  I am going to post it at a later date though so stay tuned.

Card stock ~ Recollections
Patterned Paper ~ Echo Park 6 x 6 Very Merry Christmas
Embossing Folder ~ Couture Creations "Pere Noel"
Sentiment ~ Hero Arts
Colorbox Pigment Stamp Pad ~ Silver
Ribbon ~ Dollarama
Stickles ~ Silver
~ Crystal
Sakura Clear Glaze pen
I~Rock for jewels

I like the elegant feel of this card.  No matter how I took them the picture did not do it justice ~ it is so much
shiner in person with lots of texture.

Thanks for coming by to hop with us.  You are now off to Tara K's blog (I am surrounded by Tara's).  Until next time,  happy crafting and "Merry Christmas!".

  1. Hi BFF, wow you have done a FABULOUS job this month!! I LOVE the 3pc set of Lulu cards (you know I am crazy about her!) she looks so beautiful surrounded by the wonderful Christmas colours! Your 2nd card is sooooo elegant - just gorgeous, can't wait to see the other item you are making to match the card! Great job sweetie! So glad to have you back on the hop!

  2. Wow, I LOVE all of your cards! The first 3 make a perfect gift set and I love the embossing folder on the second one...I've see it before yet never knew the name and now I do. Glad your move went well and that you are back :)

  3. Your cards are fantastic!!

  4. Hi Heather, Great cards I love your LuLu cards they are wonderful. I had my first chance to colour LuLu this weekend ad she was supper fun to colour I get why you like her and why Shari LOVES her so much. Great job so glad you are back this month I enjoy seeing your creative creations. :) glad your move went well and your back up and running.

  5. Adorable cards! Love Lulu! So glad that you are getting settled in and are back to crafting.

  6. Hmm, maybe you could send the three cards to three people who live in the same house? That way they would stay together, and all the recipients would feel very special getting their very own cards instead of one "to the family" card. Or to the same person, but mailed separately... 'cause it's always fun to get real mail!

  7. What a sweet collection of Christmas cards love how you've done them :) hugs Nikki C

  8. Oh that second card is so elegant! I just love the soft colours! TFS

  9. Love your Christmas Lulu's, they are adorable! Hope you have great weekend.

  10. I am not a blogger, but Iam having a blast hopping from blog to blog and getting great ideas!

Thank you for visiting and leaving a comment. I love to hear from you, my friends.
