"8 Months til Christmas" Blog Hop

Welcome to our monthly countdown to Christmas.  If you arrived from my talented bff, Shari, then you are in the correct place.  If you just happened to stop by my blog today, you may want to go there so you don't miss a single one of these incredible stops.  I will have a list at the end of my post in case you need to find your way.

Each month on the 25th a group of talented ladies and myself share two Christmas projects to get you inspired to get a head start on your own Christmas projects.  I have a confession to make for today ~ it is 11:40 and our posts are supposed to go live at midnight EST.  Yep, not gonna happen.  I do not know why I procrastinated so baldy this month but I do have two cards to show you using our current theme ~ animals.  The pictures aren't that great as I took them late at night with artificial lighting.  And the inside of the cards still needs to be done.  Oh well, there is always tomorrow...or more accurately, later today now!

My first card is similar to a card I created last month.  I have a great niece and 2 great nephews that I thought would love these bear cards so I am going to make 3 different types to give to them.  Here is my second one, a Santa bear:

RECIPE:
Card stock ~ Recollections
Patterned Paper ~ DCWV Christmas Stack
Cricut Cartridges ~ Teddy Bear Parade
~ Wild Card
~ Accent Essentials
Sentiment ~ Michaels $1.50 bin
Bic Markers
Punch ~ Fiskars
Colorbox Chalk Ink ~ Lipstick Red
~ Warm Green
Stickles ~ Diamond
Stampendous Crystal Snow

My second card uses an image from House Mouse.  I guess some people would not call a mouse an animal but a rodent but they are in the mammal family so they fit the bill.

RECIPE:
Card stock ~ Bazzill and Recollections
Patterned Paper ~ MME Merry
Image ~ House Mouse "Foot Loose and Fancy Free"
Copic markers
Spellbinders ~ Nestabilities Labels Nine
Sentiment ~ Michaels $1.50 bin
Stampendous Embossing Powder ~ Opaque White
Colorbox chalk ~ Pastel Pink
Glossy Accents
Sakura White Gel Pen
Sakura Clear Glaze Pen
Jewels ~ Imaginescence
Ribbon ~ "Use It Up" inventory

Here is where I would usually have a close up of the image but not tonight ~ I may add it later today but the Copic colours I used were ~ B00, B01, C5, C7, E13, E15, E17, E40, E42, E43, G03, G05, G07, R20, R22, RV32, RV34, YG93, YG95, YG97, W1, W3, W5

Our hop order is:
Heather (You are HERE!)

Thank you so much for coming by today.  I hope you have enjoyed my Christmas projects as well as those of my talented DT sisters.  I promise I will be more organized next month :)

Now off to bed for me.  See you in the morning.

I am just as bad for running late doing my projects and post. Every month I say I will get it done early and I don't. lol
