7 Months til Christmas Blog Hop

Good Morning.  I hope you are having a great weekend so far.  I sure am ~ I get to spend some time away from work.  Welcome to our monthly blog hop where our wonderful design team showcases two projects for Christmas following the monthly theme.  This month our theme is "Festive Flowers".  If you have arrived here from Shari's blog you are in the correct spot.  If you just happened to come by and visit me today, go back to Shari's blog to start at the beginning of our hop.  The order for this hop is a little smaller than sometimes as some of our regulars had other commitments this month.  Two quick things ~ congratulations to Tara on the birth of her son and a heartfelt goodbye to Kerry as she leaves our team due to other commitments in her life.

Okay, enough chatting.  Here are my two "Festive Flowers" cards.  I went extremely traditional this month.

CARD #1

inside:

RECIPE:
Card Stock ~ Recollections
Stamps ~ Frog's Whiskers (large poinsettia)
~ Hero Arts (small poinsettia)
(outside sentiment)
~ CTMH Festive Thoughts (inside sentiment)
Ink ~ CTMH Topiary, Cranberry
~ Martha Stewart Dark Pink
Bakers Twine ~ Martha Stewart
Flowers, button ~ "Use it Up" Inventory

I first saw this technique on a card that Tara had for one of our blog hops and she sent me the link to the tutorial HERE so what a better way to try but with these poinsettia stamps for Christmas.

Now you are off to Mary's blog to see what wonderful things she has created with flowers.  Take care and have a wonderful weekend
