Good Morning, my friends! I have been finishing cards like a mad woman this week. You know, just those few details that they need in order to be finished and ready to sell....like something on the inside & my name stamped on the back. So, I have a question for ya....how do you sell your cards? I make them and then they sit. What is a good market to get into for selling them? I'm not looking to make it my career but just to cover some spending money on my crafting addiction....er.....hobby. LOL!!!!
This card is a brand new one and was my first try at paper piecing a stamp - her dress and the balloon.
All card stock is Recollections. Patterned paper & ribbon from my scrap bin. The stamp is "Flying High Fhiona" from Your Next Stamp coloured with my copics. Border punch is Martha Stewart. Stamp is My Pink Stamper from one of her first sets, "Everyday Occasions".
This card is being entered into the following challenges:
Your Next Stamp Challenge Blog - to use your border punches
Birthday Sundaes - a birthday card- this was an easy, peasy one this week!
And, do you all remember my birthday card from last week that I entered into the Birthday Sundaes challenge? It was featured on Super Sundaes and I am proudly off to put my winner button on my sidebar. Thanks, Kristie, & team.
Thanks for stopping in today. Hope things are well with all my friends here. Take care & I will be back soon.

Cute. I would love to have some tips for selling too. It definitely would help support the cost of buying new supplies. Hope you get some responses that you can share. I teach, so I bring them to school and share with the office staff. They have bought some in the past.

Another adorable card this week! You really did that border punch proud! I started selling my cards by word of mouth. I started off with a friends baby shower and before I knew it, I was getting phone calls all the time for showers, birthday parties, special order birthday cards, gifts, and now I have different businesses calling me to sell them in their shops. I stopped selling them in the shops and at craft shows because it became more of a headache then a hobby with all the sales tax and business info. I do enjoy holding card classes every so often at my house where everything is set up with the material they need to recreate the specific cards and I help them make them. These crafty ladies that come ususally end up buying most of my extras I have in my stash too! It is always an enjoyable afternoon/evening and they are the best advertisement! I hope that helps a little! Good Luck and thanks for playing at Birthday Sundaes again this week! I hope you'll join us again next week!

Adorable card! I love the pretty colors and all the layers you used. No advice on selling cards from me - I've tried the Etsy route and that really didn't work so well but that's my fault for not marketing myself.
ReplyDeleteAnywho, thank you for playing along with us again this week at Birthday Sundaes! Hope to see you next week!
