Birthday Boy (or Man too I Guess)

Good afternoon, my friends.  I have some sad news to share today.  I don't always share lots personal on my blog but it is weighing heavy on my heart and I ask for your prayers and thoughts.  My brother-in-law, my husband's older brother, passed away early this week.  He was 54, had led a rough life and has been estranged from all the family for a number of years.  It's sad he died alone.  So, please remember that life is short.  Tell someone you love them or make that phone call today.  You just never know!

Okay, moving on....I have a masculine card for you today.  I think this is one of my fave masculine cards I have made.  I think it is the colour combination that I like so much.


All paper was from my scrap pile.  The stamp is "Special Autumn" from The Greeting Farm coloured with my Copic markers.  Embellishments and the clear stamp were from my stash. 

I am entering this card into the Birthday Sundaes challenge where we had to use 3 or more brads on a card.

This card is really cute but the story about your BIL is so sad. You're absolutely right about staying close with family because you never know what day might be your last... or theirs.

    Your card is so cute. Masculine cards are bit of a challenge for me but I have been making more of them lately so I think I have gotten better at it. I'm already following you.
